New building of this motel was very clean and had a new and fresh interior. We were initially given a room on the far end of the building, which smelled mildew, so we asked to be moved. We were moved one room away and it was fine. The motel is right in the centre of Hope.

Superb accomodation. Good location for stopping off on a long journey. Room is very clean and every little thing has been thought out for guests in the room. It is a cracking b&b and would fully recommend staying. Great nice sleep.

The views and the distance to the town centre was grouse. Pauline made some delicious breakfast and was very nice. Would recommend to anyone travelling through Hope to stay!

Nice location, old style court yard with cars at the door, not accessible for theft of catalytic conv.. Very quiet, large trees, fenced yard ,nice landscaping on the edge of family neighborhood. Everything new inside 1 story units, no upstairs to be noisy! Air conditioning but windows that are screened and will open, can be locked in position, quieter and just as cool by late evening because of lake and mountains. Lots of info available about where to go out to eat.

Review of the Mountain View motel… stayed one night on our way to Okanagan Lake. It was Saturday night of Labor day weekend and due to unforeseen circumstances we needed to get a hotel room. Being a holiday there was not much available. We got the last room in Hope after no luck in the previous 2 towns. The rooms had been remodeled to a degree and what was done was nice but it still was a VERY tired property. My biggest complaint was the price. We had to pay $250. USD for a tired motor inn motel room worth about $70. USD. Which is about their normal rate. Charging $250. Is nothing short of price gouging.

Absolutely beautiful little town.

Absolutely beautiful little town. The residents are so friendly and I was very impressed how clean all the fast food places and gas stations were. I love the little shops in towns centre. Motels are decent prices (usually) I would recommend booking in advance. The scenery is so beautiful. I take so many pictures when I go. It is very small but that’s definitely part of the charm. Love coming to Hope for a little break from living in the city. I would recommend eating at Rollys for breakfast, it serves delicious food. There is also a really good place that makes fudge in the towns centre. Hope is nice for walking you can walk to most areas in a short time. Or driving is super easy if you don’t like walking. Very easy place to navigate.

Hope is a Wonderful location for travelers with pets or...

Hope is a Wonderful location for travelers with pets or travelers who love nature. You have multiple places to hike or play in rivers and lakes. Memorial Park in the center of town is a lovely place to have a picnic after purchasing a lunch at one of the many lovely eateries located on nearby streets.

Quiet, clean town.

Quiet, clean town. Othello Tunnels were still closed so we switched to plan B; went out to Hell's Gate; north of Hope on TC Hwy 1. Took the Airtram across the raging Fraser River & spent the afternoon taking in the views. Had supper back in town & did the wooden carving walking tour. Def recommend stopping in on your way north or south; Rambo was filmed there so many references & carving all over town.

Pleasant town, but not a lot there.

Pleasant town, but not a lot there. We visited it years ago and were impressed with the amazing flower garden in the center of town. That's all gone now, replaced by a playground / park. And the nearby Provincial park and railroad tunnel was closed. So it seems it's now just a sleepy 2-star town. Better to spend your time at Harrison Hot Springs a little west of there.

Sweet place to visit. Very beautiful.

Sweet place to visit. Very beautiful. Has all the amenities needed for a short visit. Save on Foods was directly across from my motel which was very convenient. There are plenty of restaurants for your choice and the people were friendly and helpful. A variety of stores if you need anything.

A great place to stay when in Hope! Right across the street from the park and close to Stallone's Restaurant. Newly renovated, clean, vending machines, great channel selection, nice staff.
