CanadaRoom was clean, well lit and spacious. We didn't access the pool, but wish we did. The food from Cordo was delicious! We ordered dinner the first night and then breakfast the next morning. The staff provided excellent service.

AustraliaPick up at the airport, bonus. Hotel located right next door to a supermarket and restaurants. Loved the furniture and fit out in the downstairs lobby and lounge area. Rooms bigger than expected, very comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend.

difficult to get around; lots of traffic and main highways in way of local roads; my GPS helped but was often confusing; not easy to get around; eg couldn't find Moxies or Hillside Cemetery; parking at hotel was limited; city parking meters were ridiculous;

I live an hour outside Kamloops so I'm very familiar with it...
I live an hour outside Kamloops so I'm very familiar with it. It has grown extensively over the years. There is a lot to do, especially outdoors, but it's VERY busy and can be a bit of a chore to get around because of all the traffic. It is beautiful and there are a number of walking/hiking trails around.

We went with friends to a New Year’s Eve party at the Columbo Lodge (also called the Italian Cultural Centre). The evening was fantastic. The music was great (covered lots of genres but mostly the 80’s), the food was plentiful and delicious and the venue was nicely decorated. It was a very fun night.

Kamloops isn't the regular stopping point for many.
Kamloops isn't the regular stopping point for many. We made use of the various walks, the Kenna Cartwright park had a fabulous ridge walk. We ate in the Noble Pig, walkable from the accommodation and well worth the visit.
Kamloops lake is very popular if you have a boat or like fishing. It is a town of many sports, we even found a "horseshoe" court! Wild deer came into town to eat the overflowing vegetables at the community gardens. A sight to remember

We really enjoyed the Secwepemc Museum.
We really enjoyed the Secwepemc Museum. It was a little complicated to find and the museum is not big but well presented and organized and easy to navigate. The stories of the culture of the Secwepemc people, government involvement, and the boarding school were all well told and illustrated. The small gift shop had some interesting material for sale.

The hotel is a good option for a quick stay. There is a pool and free breakfast in the morning and the rooms are a decent size. As well, they are pet friendly with a decent pet fee ($15 per pet). Beds were nice and firm and comfortable.

I was very pleased with our stay! Room was clean and comfortable, staff was super nice and accommodating. Located in same area as most hotels in Kamloops. Great value for money. No issues with noise. Would definitely stay again!
