Unfortunately, the restaurant food was disappointing. The meat tasted old and was overcooked and burnt. The dining area was also very loud and noisy, which made it difficult to enjoy the meal. Another downside was that the bowling area was fully booked and overcrowded, largely with outside visitors who were not staying at the hotel. This made it difficult for hotel guests to access the amenities. Our suite was great with an excellent view of Lake Ontario.

Our suite was great with an excellent view of Lake Ontario. The food and service at The Shore restaurant was also excellent. Unfortualty the screens on our bedroom window were torn and bent which allowed bugs to get in or forced us to close the window.

a great friendly little town in the heart of wine country . We ate at The Local for dinner & impressed with the menu & prices were fair . They even had a gluten free menu that was an amazing touch . We weren't expecting much. Just another town. But we were wrong. People ,townsfolk very nice and even visited the local real-estate office as we are planning to downsize in 2 years. Strongly considering relocating. And really to roam the wineries but at a more slower pace Senior's Disney land

Under construction right now. Looks like it can be a cute little community to walk for an evening, but not much to do longer than a day. Will need to drive everyone, but good central location to lots of wineries.

Hotel rooms needs upgrades! Outlets are scary, Walls and carpets dusty There was an awful smell which didn't help to sleep and made us feel sick. Not recommending and not coming back until the upgrades are done. The only thing nice was Lakeview from balcony

The hotel is going through renovations, we stayed in 1 out of 3 suites they had. The other 2 were still in renovations. The room was huge, bed was so comfy and the big bath tub was great., big balcony was an amazing view. But still needs some work. Overall we loved our room and enjoyed out stay.

We were hiking the Bruce Trail and arrived at the hotel at 9:30pm after walking for ~15 hrs. Even though we didn't ask for it or seemed visibly distressed, one of the staff, offered voluntarily to drive us back to the lodge, which is 500m away from the check-in place. We are grateful for her sensitivity (apparently a hiker herself!) and hospitality, who went the extra mile for her guests.
