Montreal is the second largest city in Canada and the entry point to Quebec province via Pierre Elliott Trudeau Airport. Montreal truly has it all. Divided into East and West by Boulevard Saint-Laurent, there are several districts to the city, each offering a distinct atmosphere.
Downtown is best explored on foot, as you weave your way through skyscrapers and visit museums such as the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. In the winter you can steer clear of icy paths by heading underground to the passages of the Underground City, full of shops, movie theaters and food courts.
From there, the metro will conveniently take you outwards in any direction you might want to go, from the historic Old Montreal to the hip café and restaurant culture of the Quartier Latin-Le Village.
In summer, stay closer to the historic quarter and head outdoors in Parc Jean-Drapeau on the St. Lawrence River islands of Île Sainte-Helen and Île Notre-Dame. If the weather isn’t good enough for rowing, water-skiing and beaches then head to Montreal Casino.
Whether you’re visiting for festivals or fashion, gastronomy or culture, with over 190 hotels and B&Bs with Booking.com you’ll find your perfect home away from home.

Loved the MVP sports bar, had every event you could want to view, and chasers were the best, and I’ve had a few!
Baton Rouge ribs we were so looking forward too…..smothered in BBQ sauce, not to our liking, but they did present it this way, so we maybe should have avoided ordering these at $50.00!

If it hadn't rained one day, 2 full days and 3 nights would have been a perfect length of stay. As it was, it just left me wanting to go back for more! Old Town Montreal felt like a European trip but just a short 6 hour drive. I'll be back for more.

Montreal has changed for the worst since the Quebec language law. US visitors and or English speakers are starting to feel uncomfortable here sadly. While I think French is nice - it should not be rammed down our throats. Websites that used to offer ENg as an option don’t, and marketing emails sent only in French turn people that don’t speak French off. I will NOT stay at a hotel or go to a restaurant any longer that doesn’t offer English language option on their website and emails in English and I encourage other anglophones to do the same. I used to think it would be nice to move to Montreal but now, no way.

Excellent location. Initial thoughts were the building looked a little tired.
However once we opened the door to room 1210 we were impressed by the quality and cleanliness of our room.
Ziad at reception was extremely helpful and would give him a 10/10 rating.
On reflection we wish we had more time in Montreal as we think that Hotel 2170 LINCOLN Downtown MONTREAL would be ideal.
Should we be lucky enough to return to MONTREAL, Hotel 2170 will be our first choice for accommodation.
Clean comfortable room with everything needed to have maximum flexibility and enjoyment when visiting Montreal. The hotel is very close to a subway station that serves three different lines (UQMA Berry), within walking distance of downtown / old Montreal, has parking (if required but honestly, not required) and the breakfast provided had all the basics plus fresh bagels / croissants! The room had everything you needed including kitchen, window that can open with screen.
Great stay downtown Montréal. Few minutes walk from the metro. Our room was more of an apartment than a hotel room, with separate bedroom, living room, and kitchen area. Staff was nice and polite. The room was clean and Wi-Fi worked very well. Very good value for money for our stay.
Hotel was right near many attraction of downtown Montreal. Hotel we're clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast served in the morning was a great change to traditional breakfast served at other hotels.
