The room was nicely decorated, just slightly small. There is a microwave in the common area and a big thank you to the staff for helping us find 2 bowls that could be used for heating. There is also a hot tub on the roof and a sauna in the building that requires a reservation

Immaculately presented spacious & lots of lovely generous detail. Beautiful colourful well coordinated furniture & artwork. Generous kitchen equipment with Dianne’s pottery to use. Situated at top of hill so straightforward drive to Whitewater to ski & convenient to drop into Nelson for the great shops & restaurants. Lovely to have literature on the area to read & of course Dianne herself very warm & welcoming.

Love this place , the vibe you get is amazing.

Love this place , the vibe you get is amazing. The people you meet are down to earth and genuine. The food and drink, quenching and delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the outdoor cafe's...... Sadie our server at the Full Circle Cafe was a Delight....such a pleasure to have as a hostess / server.....

We liked the historical aspect.

We liked the historical aspect. However, we thought the " organic" was being taken a little to seriously. We're all in favors of choices, and didn't like having this view pushed so hard on us almost every where we went in town.

Nelson has great character.

Nelson has great character. Beautiful buildings, excellent restaurants and an amazing setting on. kootenay Lake. The only issue we had was parking was difficult to find but then, it was Valentine’s Day so maybe it’s not always so bad.

Nelson has many well preserved buildings from the mid 1800s

Nelson has many well preserved buildings from the mid 1800s It is beautifully situated and the setting is picturesque. However the town is not pretty with too many ugly buildings of an industrial nature near the shoreline.

Stunning little city with independent shops and eateries all...

Stunning little city with independent shops and eateries all within a couple of blocks. The river walk to the park and beach was lovely. Even the scenery from the car journey to get to Nelson was fabulous!

Very cute hostel with quirky areas to relax and family bathrooms (so no annoying shower cubicles or sharing - big bonus!). Great location to explore Nelson, walking distance to everything. Loud floor boards but they provide ear plugs. The hostel really need to get new mattresses! Ours were thin foam and we could feel every slat in the bed. Most uncomfortable bed I’ve stayed in for a long time - I ended up moving my mattress to the floor.

We didn't know breakfast was available! But we were happy with the room even tho we didn't need the wheelchair availability. It felt clean. It felt like it was operated by true Canadians, which we can't say for the other hotel stays weve had. Sorry. But truth is truth, even tho we aren't suppose to speak it. I would recommend this hotel. Thank you.

What a fantastic place, full of character. Although the hotel is aged, it is clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were awesome - gave us lots of tidbits about the area. I would highly recommend this spot. A little off the beaten path and a great place to reset after shopping and other activities.
