Free Wi-Fi is offered in this Oliver motel. A microwave and refrigerator feature in each guest room. Quinta Ferreira Estate Winery is 1.2 mi away. We liked that Lorraine the manager was on site, very friendly, knowledgeable about the area and helpful. She makes sure that the hotel is spotless and that the guests feel welcomed and attended to. We really liked the quaint look of the motel with grape vines growing on all the posts and actual grapes on them. It was so perfect for a little motel in wine country - really gave it extra special character. Centrally located so it's super easy to get to all the wineries. Great deal for the price.
Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Crowsnest Vineyards Guest House offers pet-friendly accommodations in Cawston, 5.6 mi from Keremeos town center. Free private parking is available on site. Crowsnest was completely charming. It is set off the road in the middle of fields of grape vines, espaliered apple trees and pear trees. The host and hostess were welcoming and pleasant during every encounter. There was lovely covered patio where we drank excellent wine, had a delicious dinner, and enjoyed the views of the surrounding mountains. The feel of the property was very European. Breakfast was served in the indoor dining room (not a buffet) and also was European with fresh fruit, cold meats, breads and a soft boiled egg. This was our favorite accommodation on a five week coast to coast trip.

Self proclaimed wine capital of Canada, Oliver is the gateway to the wine area of the region. The town is a fair size market town, but that is not a reason to visit. Oliver serves as the starting point for Canadian wine discovery and appreciation. That said, it is also the orchardist capital - fruit of many descriptions. Good visiting.
Oliver is a great place to live if you are visiting Osoyoos and want to save up a bit on hotels. You're likely to be driving to Osoyoos anyway, so it doesn't make much of a difference with a 10-minute drive at night back to Oliver for sleep. Oliver is not as busy as Osoyoos, but it's a great place to spend a quiet night. There are several restaurants nearby, some banks, and fruit stands too.
We enjoy the weather - most of the time very good. Good grocery store, good breakfast & coffee at Cock & Bull, lots of choice for wine tasting, nice park. We come there mostly to just relax and get away from the city.
Merchants were very hospitable. We drove down through a few country roads and into the orchards. What a fantastic experience to see the bounty of fruits growing in this little paradise.along side a beautiful lake.

Scott and Karen are friendly hosts with impressive culinary skills. They take pride in using fresh, local ingredients, most of which come from their own garden or their hens (each named Sophie). The pool is a perfect end to a day racing at Area 27, hiking the trails, or visiting the wineries. The B&B is centrally located in Oliver and there's plenty of parking for a SUV and utility trailer. Stay here, you will not be disappointed!

The Cactus Tree is conveniently located in Oliver near gas, supermarket and restaurants and it's scrupulously clean and well-maintained. The building is an old-style drive-up motor hotel -- like a surprising number of Okanagan hotels -- so its age shows in some ways, but I'd happily stay there again. We didn't make much use of the kitchenette in our room for our one-night stay.

Excellent access to wineries in the area and central location in Oliver. Splendid breakfast with amazing French Toast, blueberries, whipped cream with side of bacon. Fresh seasonal fruit with granola, yogurt coffee/tea to start the breakfast ~ all yummy! Great to stay in one of the sunniest areas of the country. Love the semi-arid climate and scenery.

The room had been renovated recently. It had a full kitchen which was unusually well equipped.. Even plastic wrap and foil were supplied. The outside is totally 1950s style (They even have a heritage photo of the hotel in 1955 to prove that!) but the interior is completely updated.

After a long drive to Oliver in winter roads, I arrived late to a friendly face who waited up for me, my room had the heat turned up for my arrival and there were chilled wine glasses in the fridge. I was able to walk in, drop my bags and relax immediately!
