Paris has lovely shops. Most shops open at 10 am or later.

Paris has lovely shops. Most shops open at 10 am or later. We stopped at the Paris Beer Company for a nice cold beer and fresh pretzel on their patio. The brewery is within walking distance from the Arlington Hotel, as is Still Waters Restaurant on Grand River St N where we enjoyed a lovely dinner and watched rafts go down the river. Grand River Street N was closed to vehicle traffic due to construction, however, all sidewalks and businesses were open.

Paris is an interesting old town.

Paris is an interesting old town. If you are interested in architecture, nature and family run shops this is a great place to visit. We were there for the "Tasty Tour" and met some very pleasant people who were part of the tour. We had dinner at Capeesh overlooking the river and thoroughly enjoyed it. We would definitely go back.

I have always enjoyed visiting the town of Paris.

I have always enjoyed visiting the town of Paris. I always find the town clean and the people we interact with are lovely. The town has grown considerably since my last visit, but has not lost its charm. The downtown core is what I enjoy mostly about Paris…we stayed in The Arlington Hotel….the staff and accommodations are top notch! We ate at COBBLESTONE and STILLWATERS…..both are EXCELLENT in their service and food was DELICIOUS! The shops and shopkeepers were enjoyable to shop. I am looking forward to my next visit to Paris.❤️

The view of the Grand River is beautiful.

The view of the Grand River is beautiful. The restaurants in the main town are really good. We went to one that was featured on Top Chef. They had a number of cute shops. The street was bustling at night.

Things are to spread apart to far for walking around for...

Things are to spread apart to far for walking around for such a small town, plus they need a better traffic lighting system there it sucks. They need more cannabis stores as well. A bus that went from Brantford to Paris would be great to, so you wouldn't have to walk all around town as it's a bit of a bummer due to the hills in it a bus would help tremendously. Thank you.

Paris is a beautiful old town with lots of shopping and restaurants. If you are looking to shop, the stores are not open on Mondays. That was abit of a disappointment as I was only there for Monday and Tuesday. The two restaurants we ate at were Stillwaters and Capeesh. Both times we were able to get tables over looking the river. The food was excellent at both places. Had the best ice cream cone from Chocolate Sensations! Stayed at the Carriage House Flat B&B which was within walking distance of downtown.

The Amazing Staff. The ambience of, and surrounding this quaint little slice of Heaven. Room boasted shutters and black out curtains arresting any inkling of light from interrupting a sweet deep sleep. The bathroom / room were very super clean. Nicely laundered towels and bedding. Loved loved that the parking was literally attached to the hotel with a short cut back entrance.. Arlington had all the glitz and ritz of those overrated 5 star, just in a different way. I traveled for work, left with a new Arlington family.

I cannot say enough about how lovely our stay was. Judy met us and showed us our suite, she was a truly a super host. She made tea and sandwiches while we relaxed our sore and tired selves after a long day of travel and walking. We were surprised and delighted with all her homemade goodies and treats ! The effort she has put into the property and rooms really shows, no detail even a small thing was overlooked. I can't wait to visit again and I hope my travels take me in the Paris direction soon.

Breakfast was good though not exciting: appreciated the gluten-free bread and yogurt and everything seemed fresh. Liked the decor: different from the big chain hotels. Staff were really nice. Location in downtown Paris across from the river was brilliant. It was pretty quiet in our corner room. The room was very clean.

Absolutely amazing and wonderful studio room and even more awesome host Judi!😁 Breakfast was delicious and served to us in a beautiful room overlooking the Grand River! We highly recommend staying at this stunning, cozy and comfortable B & B if you are planning a visit to Paris!
