Located by the edge of the Saguenay River in a forested area, these chalets are 1.9 mi from the municipality of Petit-Saguenay. Love the fact that they accept dogs :) and the limited number of chalets (which means limited amount of people if you are looking for some calm). Merci pour l’accueil Lorraine !

Each room at this bed and breakfast is air conditioned and is equipped with a TV.... Everything was perfect. Petite Saguenay is an amazing place, the house was nice and clean, the room was very comfortable and the hosts - just adorable. They treated our family not as clients but as very special guests. Even the language barrier was not an obstacle to have a warm communication (my French is not my strength :) I would highly recommend it to everyone who is looking for a quiet and beautiful vacation place. One more thing, the breakfast was homemade and very delicious.

My wife and I had our three older children with us and we had most of our meals at the residence which was well stocked and everything worked perfectly. We were in the area mostly for hiking and enjoying the outdoors. Village Vacances is nearby where there is a beach, camp site with a playground and hikes, also where we booked a whale watching tour (zodiac) with Organisaction.com. Kayaking is also available there. The Park National du Fjord Du Saguenay (one of our main targets) was about a 45min drive away and Anse Saint Jean was even closer both with great hikes and the latter has a nice waterside cafe. We enjoyed sunsets at the water at Anse du Petit Saquenay along the Rue du Quai nearby. We also took time for a day trip to Tadoussac. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, the residence is quite new, everything worked, and was overall very comfortable, beds were good, water was clean and clear and pressure was great. There is a well stocked grocery store at the gas station close by.
The road scenary between saint Simeon and Petit Saguenay is very similar to Switzerland. Beautiful view on the fjord at the harbourg. The national park is a few miles ahead. Very little possibilities for restaurants, a better choice in Anse Saint Jean, six miles ahead.
It's a quiet place, suitable for those who love calmness and nature. But in the other hand, it's a place where there's no restaurant, but one snack a little bit poor (menu is not rich) nor generous (portions are too small but prices aren't) !
