The location on the Ottawa River was beautiful and peaceful. The owners were easy to interact with and it was an exceptional value (2 bedroom suite) for the price of an average 1 queen bedroom at a standard hotel but with you as the only guest walking out your door to nature and solitude.

Less than 10 minutes’ drive from Sandy Beach and 20 minutes' from Canadian Tire Centre (Home of the Senators), this motel offers barbecue facilities, a picnic area and playground.

The spa tub was out of this world. Definitely worth the extra money spent on the room.

The ambience, character, staff and our hosts were amazing! We loved our whole stay, have recommended it to family and friends and plan to return. The food was delicious. It would be worth visiting for the dessert table alone!

Everything!! Gaby has created a wonderfully peaceful place, her attention to detail and welcoming demeanour is wonderful. Welcoming flowers, snacks & a bottle of wine!! The accomodation is superbly fitted out with everything anyone could want. The bed is huge!! And so comfortable! The private garden area (with pool) which backs onto the forest was a lovely area to sit & watch the wildlife… we spotted deer, chipmunks, squirrels and a variety of birdlife. Gaby has created a space she should be so very proud of, my only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer!! Thank you Gaby for the welcome, the space & the hugs!!
