We visited the Elevated Park in the early evening, after the...

We visited the Elevated Park in the early evening, after the heat of the day. It was really lovely, with lots of wild flowers growing along the path up to the park. Once at the top, on the bridge itself, there was a lovely breeze and a beautiful view waiting for us. We stood at the railing, taking it all in. It is just a short, easy walk, but you can make it into a much longer walk, if you like, as the trail continues on down the other side. Bring a lock with you and your loved one's name or initials engraved or written on it, and lock it on the gate at the top, with the others - I thought this was really a sweet idea, and it was fun to look at all the different types of locks. Be sure to drive under the bridge to see the mural, and see the park from a different angle! Right nearby was this big elephant monument (just about a block away), so we walked over to find out what that was all about.. interesting! I would have loved to have seen the Waterworks Park (ponds, birds, plants) but we ran out of time.. We had a lovely time in St. Thomas.

Beautiful small town, a lot of history, a lot of houses from 19th century. Very friendly people. Interesting true story about Jumbo Elefant and history of St. Thomas railway. Military museum, Railway museum. Very nice boardwalk. Must to see. ❤️ 😊

We really enjoyed our stay, it was worth it from the room, to breakfast, amenities and the location of the place. Harm, who received us in the reception was very welcoming and hospitable. She assisted us in what we requested and make it very convenient and easy for our check in. We will recommend this to our friends and definitely will choose this hotel again and again.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. The location was handy to the highway and not to far from restaurants. This location had a gazebo set up with barques for personal use. A nice bonus. The breakfast was great, with a hot plate of 2 eggs, sausage, bacon and pancakes. A waffle maker and fresh fruit. The staff was very attentive and pleasant.

all area of the hotel that we observed were clean and tidy, room was quiet and spacious. There was a little gazebo and bbq in the back parking area that could be used by guests. Breakfast was good, staff were friendly.
