Offering beautiful views of Sooke Harbour and the Olympic Mountains, this waterfront resort features a modern spa and several dining options. Free WiFi and an indoor pool and hot tub are available. Rooms fantastic, views amazing, staff and food could not fault.
Located on the shores of the Juan de Fuca Strait, this resort is a 5-minute drive from Sooke, British Columbia. It features an 114-slip marina and offers charter fishing trips. The house is neat and equipped. The location is easy to find. We have a good weekend here..
Situated in Sooke, 16 km from Sooke Region Museum & Visitor Centre and 31 km from East Sooke, The Great Escape - Shirley - Secluded with Hot Tub features accommodation with free WiFi, air... We really enjoyed our vacation there. Ian and Judi are wonderful hosts. The place is clean and comfortable. Our family loved their hot tub. The location is so good to access all the spectacular beaches. My son forgot his book on the sofa, Jodi and Ian went through so many troubles to return the book to us. We appreciate that.
Featuring garden views, Center of Sooke Vacation Home provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 3.6 km from Sooke Region Museum & Visitor Centre. I love the location, loved our privacy and most of all I loved the home away from home feeling.. Beautiful home!! Very clean and comfortable...
Featuring sea views, The Cabin: A Sooke Ocean and Mountain View Acreage provides accommodation with a patio and a kettle, around 24 km from Sooke Region Museum & Visitor Centre. We loved our stay. The house is beautifully located and the kids had a blast in the play area.
The hotel s in a fab location. We had a problem with the toilet not working in the room. The hotel quickly rectified that by giving us an upgrade to a King Ocean view room. The views were truly fabulous. Staff were friendly and helpful, although the receptionist was not too clear on the hotels facilities. My biggest complaint was the pool that was so dirty I did not get in it. The hot tub was not that much better. The changing rooms were also dirty and badly in need of refurbishment. There was nowhere to leave belongings. The four lockers in the changing room could not be locked unless you provided your own pad lock. The furnituree around the pool consider of two plastic chairs and a tatty table. Towels were available but were small and worn. The pictures on websites including bookies.com make the pool look much better than it is in real life and are misleading.
Sooke is such a laid back community. People are very friendly & everyone says "Hello". The ocean nearby is very beautiful. The salmon were swimming upstream & it was very entertaining to watch the seals & seagulls feasting. Sooke Potholes is a great place for a nature walk, as is Whiffin Spit. Both places are only a short drive away.
The many attractions of Sooke take some time to absorb. From beaches to woodland trails and the town’s small, yet engaging museum there is much to see. The restaurants are wonderful; check out “Mom’s Diner” and “Route 14”.
Very cool little town and the area has so much to explore. Amazing beaches and hikes. Good places to eat. Be sure to check out Stick in the Mud coffee and their fantastic breakfast sandwiches. The drive to Pt Renfrew is twisty but lots of beaches to explore on the way.
Its hard to give a review of such a beautiful place as Sooke! I was fortunate to be raised in Sooke and am struggling with how quickly it has become so busy with more people moving here all the time!
Sooke is a unique place. Everyone seems so happy - while out walking, anyone you pass offers a polite hello with a genuine smile. If one is looking for a quiet, safe place, with beautiful scenery, Sooke is your place to be; check out the fabulous museum for a town this size! Sooke is small enough, it's very easy to find your way around in no time. I would highly recommend a restaurant in town called Mai Mai's/The Beach, to eat. From sushi to steak sandwich, everything was absolutely delicious.
Stayed here two years ago and was the first place I re-booked when returning to the Island this year. The owner has changed but Jo-Ellen was a great host. She contacted us to let us know the property was available for us earlier than the check in time. She provided us with great local recommendations, The cottage is luxurious and was a great base for our time in the Sooke area, When I return to the Island I will always plan my vacation around the availability of the cottage at Seacape Inn. Cannot speak hoghlyenoughof this property.
Super clean, very comfortable, views are amazing. Mike & Diane are gracious hosts and Mike makes killer breakfasts. We didn't need to eat until dinner! Easy to go west or back east to Sooke. We loved having the animals around: goats, chickens (fresh eggs for b'fast), dog & cat. We were allowed to safely store our belongings after checking out so as not to have stuff in the car at a trail head.
The modern, "stunning" decor, the quiet, secluded location, the multiple USB in the headboard, the kitchen amenities, the blackout blinds on big multiple windows, excellent lighting, lots of electrical outlets, the comfortable bed and bedding.... and the best shower on out travels so far.
This property is very secluded and quiet. There is a beautiful hike along the coast line that has the most amazing views. Because it is about 30ish minutes from sooke on a very windy road, it is ideal to pack a lot of food that can be cooked on a hot plate and toaster oven.
Fabulous view overlooking the bay, big patio outside out door, with room to park our bicycles safely but out of the way for other guests.bed was exceptionally comfortable. Hostess made arrangements with WOW taxi to pick is up for dinner at Stickleback restaurant.
Very cozy cabin, nice fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, close proximity to Sooke and beaches. Great kid's room with bunk beds. Hot tub area was perfect to relax around.
Very nice cozy townhouse, perfect for couples/family to get away and relax together. Close to the water and easy drive to French Beach, sooke potholes provincial park.
Location, Location, Location. It is situated on the protected Sooke Harbour near the Wiffin Spit. The spit protects the harbour from the Juan de Fuca straight.
A quiet, picturesque place to recharge. Great central location to explore the coast or see Sooke bay by kayak. Perfect size and romantic spot for two.
Very charming and beautiful property and location. Rooms are big and very clean. Restaurants are amazing and the staff are all very nice and helpful!
Location was fantastic. Easy parking. Good choice of restaurants on site. The vault was better food and prices than the west coast grill.
The place was very clean and comfortable and close to everything l needed to get to in sooke.
