We had a marvelous stay. The host Mary & the husband were very friendly, helpful & treated us like family.The breakfast was unlimited. Location was the best - quiet area and near stores. The room was very comfortable & clean. Definitely will recommend it.

It was close to everything, very clean. Chad and Nikki are the best I would message and within minutes I had an answer back. Nikki even came to introduce herself when we arrived. We are planning on booking 5 cottages next year and having the whole family come over. Excellent job

Didn't spend a lot of time in Summerside except for supper.

Didn't spend a lot of time in Summerside except for supper. Used as a base. Had specific areas to go to, arrived via ferry and left via the bridge (to Truro & then airport). Wasn't much happening in town when we were there.

The room had dresser drawers for storage!

The room had dresser drawers for storage! A great size refrigerator with a freezer! A microwave and outside balcony! We had room # 22 which was dog friendly and on the end! Easy access to the beautiful grounds to walk the dog! Close to everything (45 minutes) to Charlottetown but not so busy! Water view! Absolutely a fantastic place to stay! Comfy beds and a great shower !!!

Summerside has a beautiful beach and boardwalk;

Summerside has a beautiful beach and boardwalk; As a second largest city in PE, it’s almost at the centre for rides in the North Coastal drive, central drive and east coastal drive. 5 days staying in Summerside the first time visitors to PEI could potentially explore all the beaches and other attractions including Charlottetown; obviously weather permitting 👍👍

This town has all the shops and restaurants. It may not be the prettiest place on the island but its people are friendly and it is in a nice and central position to start trips. The boardwalk is lovely.

The free breakfast was superb! One of the best I've had offered by a hotel with a spread of Eggs Benedict, French Toast, Bacon and Sauage, Fruit and Yogurt and more! The pool and sauna were lovely to relax in after a long day of driving for us. Lastly when something was wrong in our hotel room, AC didn't work, the staff accommodated us without issue and moved us to another room. The beds were so comfy! Best sleep I've had in months. Very friendly and helpful staff in a very convenient location! Would highly recommend!

Arriving at the property about 45 minutes after booking (in the evening) and with a call to the property manager, we quickly figured out that the property had been listed in error as the one room they had available wasn't readied for guests. Props to the property manager for quickly getting it ready for us. It was comfortable and the room was stocked with the usual comfort-related amenities one finds in hotel rooms. There is also a tub (bath)!

The man at Shine Motel was very kind and welcoming, which I appreciated. From the beginning, he was upfront in mentioning that the place is very basic, so there were no false expectations. The room had an air conditioner, which was a plus, especially after a long day of travel.

Very clean and comfortable room. Both Sunny Isle & Cairns motel's property are very well maintained. Good location in Summerside. They upgraded us to a larger room and ended up staying at Cairns Motel across the street. Definately recommend and would go back.
