The lady at the front desk Paula was sooooo nice and super friendly. Really enjoyed taking to her and she was very helpful with recommendations for sights and dining in the area. The room was very comfortable and clean. Loved having use of the gym.

We ate at 3 diners - all great!

We ate at 3 diners - all great! Starlite, By the River Cafe (BEST WAFFLES EVER!!), Granville Diner. Had Ice Cream at Sunny's Dairy Bar and Holman's - both excellent. Had A Beer a Dooly's Bar. Our FAVOURITE spot was JMK Fish Market! We ate lobster rolls (2x) and ordered cooked lobsters 3x. Sizes were 2 lbs, 2.5 lbs and 3 lbs. Pricing in early May 2026 was $12.99/lb raw or cooked. The only issue we had was trying to find butter warmers for our lobster. No where in Summerside, so I bought a candle at the 2nd hand store, and ceramic container at Dollarama to put on top of it! People were very, very kind and helpful. Many asked how we enjoyed our stay. On rainy days we did a lot of back roads, Went to the potato museum in O'Leary. Learned a ton about potatoes, and it' a great spot for souvenirs (potato fudge), and a tasty lunch (Chowder, Lobster Stuffed Potato, Blueberry Bread Pudding with Butter Brown Sugar Sauce!). The residents of PEI have immaculate lawns and take great pride in their province. We'd go back in a heart beat!

Didn't spend a lot of time in Summerside except for supper. Used as a base. Had specific areas to go to, arrived via ferry and left via the bridge (to Truro & then airport). Wasn't much happening in town when we were there.

The room had dresser drawers for storage!

The room had dresser drawers for storage! A great size refrigerator with a freezer! A microwave and outside balcony! We had room # 22 which was dog friendly and on the end! Easy access to the beautiful grounds to walk the dog! Close to everything (45 minutes) to Charlottetown but not so busy! Water view! Absolutely a fantastic place to stay! Comfy beds and a great shower !!!

Our visit to Summerside was nothing short of delightful. This charming town perfectly captures the spirit of Prince Edward Island—peaceful, picturesque, and full of friendly faces. Summerside has a beautiful beach and boardwalk;

Summerside has a beautiful beach and boardwalk; As a second largest city in PE, it’s almost at the centre for rides in the North Coastal drive, central drive and east coastal drive. 5 days staying in Summerside the first time visitors to PEI could potentially explore all the beaches and other attractions including Charlottetown; obviously weather permitting 👍👍

It was just like staying in a relative's cottage: a little dated, clean, and full of thoughtful details. There was a full kitchen with a clean oven and dishes which was an unexpected delight as we were able to save money by eating in the hotel for supper and breakfast. Everything was a little old but fully functional. I loved it, and would stay there again.

this is a great hotel for a short stay. cleanliness 10/10!!! very friendly hosts. great room design. i came for the second time and will definitely stay there again. there are many restaurants and picturesque places nearby. sincere recommendations! special respect for breakfasts. i have not seen such a service in small hotels in Canada! thank you very much!

The staff were extremely accommodating to our needs despite the hotel being at 100% occupancy with multiple tournaments in town. The hotel was clean, and well equipped. The pool was lovely. There was virtually no noise and the entire hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays! We had a wonderful stay and are looking forward to our next visit!
