Tadoussac
Located on the convergence of the Saguenay River and the Saint Lawrence River, this Tadoussac motel provides whale watching tickets through Croisières Dufour and A.M.L. Free WiFi is offered. The gentleman showed up to let us into our room within minutes of calling him. The owner has multiple businesses close by (from what I understood) The outer area of hotel, halls, room were clean, up to date and modern. The bed was comfortable. The only negative for me personally was the shower head. The water pressure was ok but the shower head sucked and sprayed out a mist that could not be changed. Other than that, the gentleman was kind, welcoming and smiling to see us stop. Thank you for a place to call home on our very long trip!
Tadoussac
Maison Gauthier is located in Tadoussac, only 7 minutes' walk from the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park. This charming hotel offers a full breakfast and each room is uniquely decorated. I would like to give a hearty “thank you” to the staff here. We were delayed an hour and a half waiting on the ferry. We had a whale watching tour that we were just going to barely make. We came rushing through the door, explaining our situation, and they took care of everything. Called a shuttle to come pick us up and got us checked in on time. We had to leave at 7:00am the next morning to catch another ferry, and breakfast started at 8:00. They arranged to make us a “to go” breakfast and showed us where it would be at 7:00am, and it was there as promised. Now, that’s above and beyond service. Thanks!

Tadoussac was a beautiful little town with many restaurants and some tourist attractions. We recommend making a reservations though as many places were booked. We found a great place with an out door patio and there was live music. Very trendy and fun. There was a nice beach with swimming and the view was excellent. The museum was very informative but some attractions were closed because of COVID 19.
Due to corona the Saguenay Fjord cruise was cancelled. We could’ve done more if it wasn’t so cold. Second time here and fist time was much better because we had hot weather and did everything we came to do. We love Tadoussac and always recommend it to others.
Stay at hotel Tadoussac, everything is walkable from here, don t need your car! Visit the dunes as well , but here you need your car! Food is fantastic at hotel , but also nearby restaurants have great dining experiences, restaurant la Bollée is highly recommanded!
Very touristy yet very tranquil, lots of activities, very nice people, great restaurants, locals tend to NOT want to speak English, do take part in activities such as kayaking with Whales, hiking local trails, cycling etc. My family and I are going back again in winter.
Very nice city with a beautiful beach and lots of activities (whale watching, sand dunes, beach, water installations, farm, historical museums, marine museums, etc..) small enough to walk around, lots of nice boutique restaurants
Tadassac is a beautiful area and we drive from OTTAWA usually every 2 years to enjoy the cooler climate in summer and watch the whales from the lookout points. Kayaking and hiking around the sand dunes are also great activities and the whaling museum is very educational and well described in English and French.
