Doris is a lovely host! We absolutely loved the terrace area, with its comfortable seating, barbecue, fire pit, and beautiful evening sunshine – the perfect place to relax after a day out. The apartment was exceptionally well equipped, cozy sofas, a wonderful bathroom and shower, and so many thoughtful little touches throughout. Everything was beautifully arranged and made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended!

The whole staff was welcoming!! They did my washing!! Make sure you tip them!! Breakfast was eggs made to order, fresh fruit, bacon, pancakes, and coffee!! The room was large, warm, and clean. Don’t miss this place!!

I could not ask more of a B&B. Everything you can reasonably expect is provided in the roon and (shared) lounge/kitchen. Although not all rooms have a direct view of the glacier, you can pop outside and sit on the patio to enjoy the breathtaking mountain panorama. Helmut and Michaela are amazing hosts. They have plenty of useful tips in store, plus many an entertaining story. We felt quite at home at Silvern Lake B&B and hope we can come back one day!
