Tofino is great! Very clean and quaint. Beaches are beautiful, loved Long Beach. Walkways are excellent to walk or bike into town. Himwitsa gallery has beautiful art. 1909 restaurant was really good and Tacofino food truck had delicious food.
Tofino is a beautiful little getaway. If you are a surf or watersport enthusiast, then this is definitely the place for you. Its very easy to get around. If you are staying right in central Tofino, then everything is within walking distance, with great little shops and eateries all over the place. There are several beautiful beaches, to check out the surf, or swim in. I had the pleasure of eating at Sobu one night. They have amazing pizzas. And if you're into chowders, they have a delicious seafood chowder. One thing I would suggest with COVID would be to make reservations or call ahead to anywhere you want to eat. It was a bit of a hassle for us on the first night, and we ended up getting Chinese takeout. Although, we didn't regret it for one second as Gary's Chinese was fricken delicious! The Tofitian is a sweet little coffee place that we went to one morning. They have a nice little patio to sit out on, and of course you have to grab a sticker while you're there! They don't have much in the way of breakfast, so we went to the Pacific Sands Resort Restaurant. We got seated right by the window, where we watched all the surfers out for the morning. The food was nice, service was okay. All in all Tofino is a great place to go and relax. There isn't much of a nightlife there, so don't expect much in the way of partying. But it's a family friendly place to visit for a few days.
Beautiful views...but the service was bad at many restaurants and food sub par! Couldn't find places to eat crab anywhere...like Whistler...you are there for the experience and not good food or service. Beach access was closed on many sites...good luck getting to beach! Would of better spent money in banff...😐
Great view from my room, and a nice balcony to lounge on. It was within walking distance of anything i needed. It was very comfortable with an older look and had vintage signage/artwork that i enjoyed.
Covid is making tourism challenging for travellers and hosts. There weren't enough eating places open for the number of people in town; we were hoping to eat at a waterfront pub but there was a 1 hour wait to be seated. Had to buy dinner at the grocery store the first night. We did get in to Tough city sushi and it was excellent--get the tsunami roll! Raw oysters were good too. Hamwitsa (?) store across the street has very nice art and other souvenirs. Visited Long Beach of course--so impressive
Tofino is great for outdoor activities but there are not many options if you want to shop or do non outdoor things. Food scene here is amazing. Best surfing beaches in the world. Must dos in Tofino: learn to surf, do a hike (Tonquin or Wild Pacific Trail in Ucluelet), eat some food (Tacofino is the same in Vancouver as it is here), explore during low tide (caves around Chesterman Beach South), whale watch, watch the sunset, have a campfire on MacKenzie Beach and stargaze.

we absolutely liked everything about it! We stayed in the suite which was super comfortable. We loved the Jacuzzi after a long hiking day and to have the possibility to have BBQ on the private balcony. The location is awesome, you just need to cross the street to be at the nicest beach. Also, the view from the deck in the early morning is priceless!

It was beautiful, loved the bigger cabins at the beach front, and we loved loved the airstreams, the fact that we were right at the beach was fun! Needed more activities we could do but campsites were nice
