Had a car breakdown on holiday. Called the hotel to let them know I wasn't going to be able to make it. Asked if there was a reduced charge by chance. Her response was, no charge at all. We can't charge people who have had their car breakdown. They didn't have to do that, but they did and when I make my tour through B.C. again, I will be stopping here.

The room was beautiful and cozy and had all of the amenities we needed for our stay. It has the feel of a modern lodge and was very quiet, though located above a bustling restaurant. I wished I could have stayed longer. The locally roasted Seven Summits coffee was exceptional, so we walked to the shop and bought a bag to take home. The location was also convenient, just uphill from the main street in downtown Rossland. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant downstairs and breakfast at a local cafe.

A recently renovated chalet situated in Rossland, The Mountain Project #2 features barbecue facilities. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi.

The person at the desk upon our arrival was pleasant and engaging. He provided us with all the information we needed and answered all of our questions with a smile! Beds were comfortable. The hot tub was great to relax in at the end of the day! We didn't know before hand but there are 2 BBQ's on site to use. It was a short drive from Rossland....only a few minutes....but was super quiet. Also, we were able to smoke outside on the property and there were ashtrays provided.

Very beautiful small town hotel with clean air and water. The staff was great and the other guests were very friendly and helpful too. It felt like home. All the other guests were very respectful and I made some new friends. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a good deal in a safe location. There is plenty of parking and it is a very quiet and peaceful small town. The room was super clean and the bed was super comfy. I had the best sleep that I've had in ages.
