The home had nice decor and made use out of the entire space. All the utensils and kitchen appliances we could have wished for were provided. The bed was quite comfortable. In warmer weather, we would have enjoyed sitting out on the deck! The instructions to find the home, where to park and how to checkin with the door key pad were quite detailed and I appreciated receiving that information ahead of our stay!

Location was fabulous with stunning sea views and wildlife. Plenty of hikes all over the eara with very well marked trails and even steps and railings in tougher areas for less experienced walkers. Lots of restaurants and amenities in short distance by car or walking for the sturdy. Twillingate was much larger and developed than we anticipated. Great people and very friendly and helpful.

The people were friendly.

The people were friendly. The coastal hiking is breathtaking, Twillingate New World Dinner Theatre is great entertainment and good way to meet others. The Captain’s Pub @ Anchor Inn with Mike performing on stage and performing Screech is a must. Annie’s for breakfast and other meals if desired. There are other great places to eat and things to do ( seasonal ), however our time was short. Looking forward to next visit.

We were in Twillingate for 2 nights in the beginning of July, hoping to see some remaining Icebergs but there were none in the vicinity, and the whales weren't in yet. However, we did book a boat tour with captain Dave which was a highlight of our trip since we learned and experimented cod fishing and explored the coast , and we discovered a great restaurant by the sea which serves fresh lobster. There is a very nice network of hiking trails to explore in Twillingate, well identified, for stunning views of the coast . All in all it was well worth exploring this region.

We came to Twillingate to see icebergs and we were not disappointed. To get the best sea food go to Sansom and Sons about 5 minutes south of Twillingate. Note they only take cash but great seafood. especially Lobster. Also Annie's in Twillingate has a great restaurant and everything there was excellent. The Boat Tour was a lot of fun and of course saw icebergs up close.

Went there to see icebergs this time of year.

Went there to see icebergs this time of year. Twillingate is perfectly situated to see them. Well run tour (iceberg quest) takes you out for a closer look though you can see them from land. Restaurants are not over priced as in some touristy locations. Annies, Robins

Look ahead at weather forecast!

Look ahead at weather forecast! We arrived at the end of May and had winter coats on for the duration. It was far too windy (for us) to do the iceberg boat tour, especially seeing how rough the ocean was. Many people braved it. We enjoyed the dinner theatre and Old Shed party in the evenings. Book ahead for both! We drove out to the lighthouse and stopped at the museum, but they were closing for lunch break. There are a few craft shops in the area, a couple of grocery stores if you have a cooking facilites at your vacation property rental. Foodland prices were not overly higher than Foodland in Ontario (Canada).

Twillingate has many unique attractions, but some of our favorites include Iceberg Quest Tours, which offers an unforgettable experience of witnessing icebergs up close. The New World Dinner Theatre serves exceptional food and entertainment. However, our personal highlight was The Shed Party, where the Mother Daughter Duo created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making everyone feel at home. We had an incredible time laughing, dancing, and singing for hours. Plus, they offered complimentary homemade treats during intermission! Plan ahead and book early to avoid disappointment - these highly-rated activities in Twillingate are not to be missed and sell out fast!

This place was amazing. What a beautiful home. We really enjoyed being able to cook our own meals and to have the laundry facilities available to us. Meeting some of the other guests was also a highlight. You never know who you will meet. We loved Twillingate. One of the best places we visited on our trip to NFLD. Would highly recommend it if ever travelling there.

This little gem was in the magical place of Twillingate. The house overlooked the water and had all the amenities needed. We appreciated having coffee and tea provided as well as laundry detergent. There is so much to see and do in Twillingate, and the people are just amazing! We would highly recommend this spot for anyone traveling this way!
