Aggie is a wonderful host. She's friendly, considerate, and a great source of local knowledge. The place was clean and comfortable, and she provided me with three different (delicious) breakfast options. Would 100% stay here again and would recommend this place to anyone, especially solo travelers and couples.

The breakfast was very nice. Room was very clean . Bathroom was very nice. Microwave and dishes provided meant we were able to have dinner in the room as the dining options in town were limited and rather expensive.

Bonavista is a beautiful town with many historical sites to visit and amazing scenery. We had dinner at Skippers restaurant which was great, nice ambiance, and wonderful service. For lunch we ate at the Oceanview - it was located right on the way to the Cape Bonavista lighthouse - good food, great prices, and lovely friendly staff. Bonavista is very easy to navigate and is very walkable with lots of trails. It is also a very convenient place to stay because of its location to other charming villages in the area -like Elliston and Trinity. On my next visit I would like to make my visit longer to allow more time to thoroughly enjoy the natural beauty and local attractions.

People very friendly….it’s Newfoundland !!

Lighthouse a must see. Don’t miss the Puffins at Ellison and Mrs Collins in the store that has everything..
The road to Dungeon is too rough ( enormous potholes) to risk a rental vehicle. Likewise Hwy 237

One night is not enough, we wanted to see as much of Newfoundland as we could, and as such, nowhere did we see all of what we would have loved to see. Were we going to thoroughly explore the area, Russelltown Inn would be the first place we'd look to stay!

Bonavista is a true gem and a real Newfoundland experience.
Bonavista is a true gem and a real Newfoundland experience. We’re so glad that we came and met new friends that we’ll probably keep in touch with and come back to visit. It’s the best place to watch whales and see puffins up close! Forget the tours in St. John’s, you can sit and watch puffins within a few feet of you if you go to Bonavista Point, or Elliston (nearby town). The town has the cutest cafes, bars… we probably ate exclusively at Quintal’s cafe and Ragged Rocks though (so I still have lots to try next time!) Bonavista Point and the Dungeon were probably my favourites spots aside from Red Point where we stayed. If you can get a bike, it’s beautiful to bike around and everything is so honest there - leave your bike outside
Aggies B and B feels like your going to Nan's house. She lives on the property but will give you the privacy you want. She made us feel so welcome and has tons of tips for places to visit. SPOTLESSLY clean, comfy queen bed, great shower and the most delicious breakfast the next morning. We wish we had stayed both nights while we were in Bonavista. Her place isn't on the water, but a very easy 15 minute walk and then you're there. We will be back!!
The location was absolutely fantastic. Very close to all of the attractions that we were hoping to visit on the Bonavista Peninsula. The home was beyond our expectations and every detail was carefully executed. The views from the home were spectacular. The host Desiree was extremely helpful and available at a moments notice. Will definitely return for another visit.
This is a great little cottage in Bonavista that offers everything you'd expect if you were at home including laundry machines, good internet service, one and a half bathrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen. It's a nice cozy place to hang-out inside on miserable days or enjoy the deck on nice days. It's easy to walk to places in town.
Beautifully restored and very, very clean, historical home in a perfect location for exploring Bonavista. We we greeted very warmly. Lovely breakfast delivered to our room.
