Whitehorse is a nice city with nice people. Great in the summer, less so in the middle of winter. The local visitors center is great, they’ll give visitors a 3 day free parking pass for downtown as well as providing great information. There is a great restaurant (summertime only) that specializes in salmon, ribs, beer and fun waitresses. Easy on the eyes too. Great jumping off spot to Dawson City, which is a great place to spend a couple of days.
Clean, pure air noted to be the best in Canda. The in town river walk was the best. There is fishing, boating and winter sports just outside town. A small laidback place with friendly folks. Also some very nice modern condos and apartments right in town. Would definitely return.
We liked Whitehorse. We particularly enjoyed our stays at The Northern Lights Resort and Spa and the Inn on the Lake. We had 2 great meals a Burnt Toast Restaurant in Whitehorse. And also ate at Antoinette's in town, but would only rate it as ok and overpriced.
Not sure if we got there too late in the "tourist" season, but nothing to do at night but walk around downtown and look at the Yukon River. That was good enough for the trip I was on. The goal was just to get out of Juneau, AK rain and have a good time. We accomplished our goal, but I guess I had unrealistic expectations of doing something in Whitehorse.
For a small and remote city it offers surprisingly good food and art offerings and really great hiking. Being territorial capital helps and adds other interests. The history is also interesting. And the scenary is pretty good. It is also a terrific base for wonderful day trips to the southern lakes region or to Kluane National Park.
Whitehorse is a vibrant northern city with lots of history. Our favorite places to eat are the Klondike Rib and Salmon and the 506 Grill. Our favorite attraction is the Beringa and Transportation Museum. Highly recommend Stacey's Butcher Shop for packaged wild game cuts of meat and beef and elk jerky and the Neighborhood Pup for pet grooming needs.

My experience staying at Triple B Bed was wonderful. Sharon is a special person and received me very well. I went to Whitehorse to have a possibility to see Aurora Boreau and be in contact with nature. At Triple B I had both, in front of the door I saw Aurora (and was unforgettable) and I very close I saw a red fox. Thank you Sharon. I will never forget!

We had an issue with the toilet leaking and we were immediately upgraded to a suite. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was great. Also as we didn't have a vehicle, the location in the downtown area is great! Will recommend anyone visiting Whitehorse to stay at the Gold Rush Inn

The staff was really friendly, and helpful. We arrived early when they weren't done setting up the room yet, but they were accommodating, and gave us access to the room to put our stuff in. They also recommended some places to go.
