We initially chose Baptiste Lake Lodge as a convenient location, on a lake, close to Bancroft and mineral hunting. What we discovered is that the Lodge is a beautiful, comfortable resort surrounded by friendly, hospitable people (including the neighbors!). The Lodge is right on the lake, on a quiet street with virtually no traffic. The calls of loons are heard early morning and during the absolutely spectacular sun set over the lake. Our accommodations were spacious and comfortable. We used all spaces, including our lovely private deck overlooking the lake. We enjoyed the large back yard a lot, and did get out paddling on beautiful Baptiste Lake. The flowers and gardens around the property are lovely, obviously planted with love and care. The Lodge was well located for us, affording us quick access both north (we visited Algonquin Provincial Park) and to many south, east and west mineral hunting trips. We hope to visit this lodge again! p.s. I loved that the Lodge recycles! So many commercial establishments do not.

Extremely Spacious!!! The Suite Included amenities "Over-and-above Expectations" as well as on the deck! The Hostess was very friendly and informative. The View from our patio doors and the deck were absolutely amazing! WE LOVED Our Stay at Treetop in Haliburton. We will definitely pass the word on to our Friends and Family, encouraging them to enjoy the accommodations, scenery and Haliburton area!!!

It was the best accommodation ever. I love traveling, but since I’m quite sensitive, I always look for very clean places — especially when staying outside my home. This place was truly special and unforgettable in my life. First of all, the host was very kind, and the surroundings were beautifully natural. A cute cat welcomed us when we arrived. There was even high-quality hardwood firewood prepared for a cozy campfire. Inside the house, everything was spotless — from the premium tea and clean kitchenware to the coffee pot. The bedding smelled nice and was very clean. I’m quite sensitive to small details, but everything here was perfect. The air was fresh, our privacy was well respected, and above all, it felt as comfortable as being back home. The house was cozy, and the barbecue grill was clean. I’d love to come back here regularly. The host just recently started this business, and I truly hope they’ll always be happy in their work. I also wish for many good guests to visit. We brought groceries from Toronto, but there’s a Foodland only about 8 minutes away by car where you can buy everything you need

The cabin was a great stay. We liked the layout of the space, it was roomy and open. I liked that the master with ensuite was on the main floor and the second room and second bathroom along with entertainment area on the second floor, it allowed for an area for the kiddos to have their own space to lounge when they desired. It was perfect. We enjoyed hikes in the woods and used the driveway as a tobogganing hill for some winter fun. The property had nice views of the lake and was close to town. The cabin had a really homey feel, and I super enjoyed the coffee. The hosts were great to deal with, communicative and helpful. Fabulous stay, I can’t say enough good things.

Lake was beautiful, cottage lovely and all newly done up. Wish we had more time to stay and enjoy it all. The outside space was very nice, lots of places to sit and enjoy the view, fireplace, company.
