This is a hidden gem, the owner, staff, hotel, restaurant, room and location were fantastic!! We are so glad that we found this and Daniele Vergani is the best host you will ever meet, he takes great pride in making everything perfect for his guest!! ～Style. Monastic, simple stone cottages scattered throughout the village ～Setting. Mountain village, sheer gorgeousness, wonderful staff ~ Explore. Nearby emerald river and waterfalls, walking along the one lane road to /from the hotel, each turn brings another panorama ~ Rooms: was in room 1 in the main cottage, comfortable and blissfully cocooned from the thunderstorm in the middle of the night ~ @ the hotel. Just across the square is the church, hotel rooms are scattered throughout the village, interesting conservation i.e. the revived ancient mill ~ Food & drinks. I was surprised at the quality of the food here, the freshness of the ingredients was evident, I even ordered the same salad twice and loved how chef Jeremy walked around constantly to greet his guests, when I checked in, also saw his gorgeous wife Désirée and their precious one month old twin girls ~ Prices. Moderate CHF315.50 ~Rating. 5/5 I was in Alba (Piazza Duomo), Lake Garda (Locanda del Benaco), Lake Como (Passalacqua) and here during this August trip. While I treasured every day on this trip, I have to say Corippo was my favorite experience, in terms of the location, the warmth of the team that runs this place, highly recommended !

Brione is ideally located for hiking in the Verzasca Valley. Beautiful hikes can be started directly from the accommodation. Locarno and Ascona are also just a short drive away and easily accessible.

A peaceful, relaxing region close to nature: beautiful forest and river. Several hiking trails/routes are available for long or short walks. Frequent bus stops. Excellent choice of restaurants (we had a wonderful meal!).

Brione in the Verzasca Valley is not Brione sopra Minusio near Locarno - booking (the Dutch...) doesn't know the difference... Fun hiking trail with a wooden bocce court from Brione Verzasca to Lavertezzo (Ideal for family hikes with kids - bring your own bocce ball).

Brione is a charming village almost at the end of the Verzasca Valley. Unfortunately, the postal buses only run sporadically, so they are always full and you don't have much flexibility when traveling. We were therefore glad that we had our car available.

We stayed in a very comfortable room with beautiful modern furnishings and a view towards the river. Check in was very simple and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the included local tea in the reception. The location is excellent, just outside the pretty village of Brione in the stunning Verzasca valley with the bus stop right at the door. The breakfast was varied and tasty with great coffee.

The room was very clean and the patio was a nice place to sit and relax. You can walk out the door to a path that went all the way along the valley into Lavertezzo. The staff were very friendly at both the hotel and restaurant. They all did their best to accommodate us only speaking English. It was a short stay but wonderful.

very nice, helpfull and friendly staff. Everything was so easy and convinient with Davide. Grazie mille! Room had a lot of daylight, beautifull view to the mountains and small garden, Restaurant next door was delicious and busstaion in front of the hotel. Definitely recomend it.

Amazing boutique hotel high up in the mountains. Quite overlooking some epic views and the best people hosting. I stayed on the first weekend of the spring season and enjoyed dinner with locals and the staff. Loved everything.
