Scenic location ,hospitable staff and host is very friendly. We booked a gum rowboat and enjoyed the lake. Calm and cosy atmosphere. Great outside area with lake view. Room was tidy and clean.

Nice place for solo travelers – good people and tasty food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I stayed at Stadthof Hotel & Restaurant in Glarus alone, and it was a really good experience. The people working there were super friendly and kind. They talked to me, helped me when I needed something, and made me feel welcome. The hotel is small but clean and cozy. My room was quiet and comfortable – perfect for a solo traveler like me. It’s also close to everything in town, which was very convenient. The best part for me was the food! The restaurant has Lebanese dishes, and they were really delicious. I tried a few different things and enjoyed every bite. If you’re traveling alone and want a friendly place to stay with great food, I recommend this hotel.

The location is really good, especially for people like me to who enjoy exploring a region on a bike; there is a lot to see locally, especially when it comes to mountains and lakes. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to do everything, so maybe I will have to return. The Wohnung itself was nice, I especially liked the flooring 👌 And the room was perfect, just enough for me to hit the mountains 🏔️ during the day, then drop my damp clothing on the heater and curl into bed with a book or listen to a podcast.
