Breakfast was amazing!! The Chef makes her own yogurt and jellies/jams, applesauce- all delicious!! The staff were all super friendly. The owner stopped by our table every morning at breakfast to ask how we are doing. He is very gregarious and kind!

The apartment is amazing. All rooms are very big and spacious, inclusing a superb living room and a couple of balconies with astonishing views. The price is quite fair when comparing it to any other swiss apartments. While staying, going to the Goschenenalpsee is an absolute must. We did a hike from there to the house and it was one of the highlights of the trip.

The fact that this was our third separate stay at Gästehaus Fürlauwi tells you all you need to know. The hosts are lovely and helpful, and the apartment is spacious and comfortable and has all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Easy parking is available right in front of the house. The main road to Sustenpass is close by, but the house is rurally located in a cluster of just a few houses. The house across the street is a working farm. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking, and you could spend hours walking the rural road and paths right outside the front door. The first time we stayed, it was just a planned overnight break on our drive from Italy to Germany. It is a good location for that. But after seeing the place, we knew that one night there was not enough, so we planned a return trip. The first two times we stayed, our children were between 6 and 9 years old, and now they are teenagers. The space was perfect in both scenarios. This location is among my favorite vacation stays ever.

Nice place.

Nice place. I used it for an overnight stop, whilst continuing the next day to Italy. It is clean, price is right, nothing special. Price and quality match, people are friendly. I phoned in advance to check how to find it, the owner explained this to me clearly and in a friendly way. Not far from the highway, next morning I was in 10 minutes back on it.

We have choosen to have an overnight before the Gottard while going to Italy. For this hotel is well located. Small convenient ‘village’ hotel. The personel is super friendly and helpful. We also had dinner in the hotel as no other option in the village and we were happy with our choices. The room was super clean and very new equipement and very noice cancelling windows as river next to the room.

It is a quaint small hotel in a small rural village in Switzerland. The mountain setting is amazing, and the rooms are very modern and clean, despite it being an old building. The family who run it was very friendly and helpful despite our language difficulties. Tina, who runs reception and serves in the hotel's bar and restaurant, went out of her way to make us feel special and welcome.

A lovely little hotel. The lady owner couldn't be more helpful. Service is exceptional. It is in a rural setting but I knew that and indeed appreciated it. So peaceful with amazing views.
