The room and bathroom were spacious and spotless, having been recently renovated along with the elevator. The breakfast was decent.

Wonderful destination out of time.

Wonderful destination out of time. Open fields, forests, nature walks, lake, skiing or snowshoeing, there’s an activity for any season. It’s very tranquil and can be really nice for a family trip with kids. It’s accessible easily enough with the Swiss RER that you can use to explore other towns around for more diversity on the food scene.

We were particularly seduced by the architecture and decoration of this establishment which, with audacity and scrupulous respect for the environment, fits perfectly into the landscape. Despite a very recent opening, the welcome of the young team contributes to the general feeling of serenity. The cooperation of chefs Emmanuel Renaut and Julien martineau allows us to hope for culinary heights... Our little dog was delighted with the visit organized by the director, Mr. Cheminade, it must be said that he is as passionate when he talks about the Hotel des Horlogers as his Schnauzer dog!

We found the location of the Col de Marchairuz in the Vaud...

We found the location of the Col de Marchairuz in the Vaud Jura to be unique. Having escaped the sea of fog, the area is absolutely perfect for hiking. The hotel at the pass offers great accommodation and food at reasonable prices. It was simply breathtaking. We'll be back – definitely.

The hotel itself is absolutely fantastic.

The hotel itself is absolutely fantastic. But unfortunately, the village can't compare in any way: old, neglected houses, actually a rather pathetic village in a beautiful landscape.

The Hotel des Horlogers is an architectural icon and we were thrilled. The bike tour around Lac de Joux was very interesting. The Vallée de Joux as a whole offers a wealth of natural beauty as well as opportunities for excursions and sports.

Very beautiful surroundings.

Very beautiful surroundings. Having your own car is advantageous. The restaurants Buvette d'Alpage les Croisettes and Buvette de Chatel, located a little outside of town, are recommended. The restaurant at the Hotel de la Lande was also good.

The hotel was great , the facilities look amazing. The room was very comfortable. And the view quite spectacular. I maybe expected the spa to be a little bit bigger considering the size of the hotel, but still worked great. Staff was lovely and always helpful in case of need. I would love to come back
