Either Switzerland is to blame, but Ascott Hotel has the kindest people. I have been checking in outside the check-in hours, but nevertheless, I was met with a smile! In the mornings, during breakfast, personnel ask you for the coffee/tee preferences; they are extremely attentive all in all when it comes to minor requests. Much recommended!

This is a special place. It's a delightful country inn with a lot of style and character - and with a warm welcome from the owners. The restaurant is of high quality with much of the ingredients sourced locally and with care. Same for the fabulous breakfast. We were on a bicycle tour and the owners were very helpful in providing secure storage for the night.

Parking spaces outside the Hotel was easily assessable and a-little walk distance to the Hotel. Modern rooms with perfect amenities. Cool design, loved my room. Bright colors and really cosy. So quiet for a sound sleep. That was good. We took a walk to the old town which was very close by. The dinner at the restaurant was really delicious. Again nice set up and the waitresses were very friendly and professional. For Aarau the best experience. Will be back for sure. Just fell in love with Kettenbrücke given the fact that have been to a couple of 4*hotels in Switzerland. This is really 10/10.

We had a family room with the Madagascar movie theme. It was spacious and fun! Everything was well thought of and very clean. The shower was very big and the bathroom had a window. Water was provided on both days, as well as quality toiletries. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was kind and available at all times. The location was convenient for us, with ample parking space. The restaurant and breakfast room were welcoming and the food tasty.

Very nice room, with lots of space, lovely bathroom fittings, very comfortable bed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. And breakfast was excellent. And the front desk had spare electrical adapters for use with the room sockets, which I hadn't realised are different from the French ones.
