It is a beautiful place, with a Lagoon, water sports, especially swimming with turtles, kayaking and the Koro boat cruise was excellent. I attended the evening party in Edgewater, where locals showcased their culture. It was worth seeing. Fruits, especially Paw paw and Coconut, are very tasty and I wish I could get the same here in NZ. Locals are very helpful and have a smile always. Didn't feel I am away from home

Rarotonga is lovely. I can't wait to go back.

Rarotonga is lovely. I can't wait to go back. The snorkling is some of the best in the world. The weather was comfortable as I went in June. The water is crystal clear and teeming with colourful fish. the Islanders are really nice. The mountains are beautiful and deserve more time. They are a stunning back drop everywhere you go. It's not cheap on Rarotonga but swimming and snorkling on all beaches is free. The food was great pretty much everywhere I ate and plentiful! Don't go for the slick WiFi and efficient bus timetable but there are both on the island. Slow down and enjoy this little piece of paradise. Magic.

Rarotonga is a must if you are looking for a slow chilled holiday, we loved it and we had a 6 month old with us. The people are all lovely and the food was quite divine, especially Takitumu tapus in Muri. The sea is phenomenal and we were lucky enough to just be out swimming by ourselves and see turtles. Resorts are welcoming even if you are not staying there. We were told it was pricey however we found it rather inexpensive, some things were on par with NZ and even a little cheaper at times for the quality. Loved our trip and will be back, note if you are there on a Sunday- most things are closed, however some eateries are still open just to be aware.

Staff were amazing, friendly, and welcoming. They had everything we needed, restaurant, bar, seating in the bar lounge right next to the pool. The beach was soo close even though we didn't get the beachside room. Food was great! I love their seafood chowder and eggs bene. The room was great! It had everything we needed including a heat pump and a fan that faces the bed from the wall. It's peaceful and quiet although the place was booked out. I will come back here everytime I visit the cook islands 100% recommend. Thank you

The location, the beach is literally on your back doorstep for snorkeling. The lovely Little Polynesian Resort and Charlies bar and restaurant are in easy walking distance. Such a lovely beach. This was my second time staying here. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were fresh and yum and the rooms and facilities kept clean. There are kayaks and snorkeling gear you can use. Beds are very comfy. Highly recommend Moana Sands Beachfront Hotel.

The host Sunnie is the best. She prepared the welcome breakfast once I arrived. She also sent me to the airport on the day of my departure. I feel home away from home. All staff in the villas are friendly and caring. I definitely recommend to stay there if you plan to visit Rarotonga.
