Featuring a free Continental breakfast, Hotel Antigua Casona Patagonia offers accommodations in Futaleufú. Free WiFi access is available. Rooms here are cozy and have wooden interiors. Great location in a small town; Antique and/or regional touches in decorations everywhere; Very helpful and pleasant people in charge; Excellent fresh pasta dishes, although something other than pasta on the menu would be nice
Matapiojo Lodge is located in Futaleufú. Located on the beachfront, this property features a restaurant, a garden, a private beach area and free WiFi. First off the location and the tents were stunning. The initial night we were there Francisco had a lamb roasted over the open fire which was one of the best meals of the entire trip. Throughout our multi-day stay Francisco consistently went above and beyond to make sure we were treated like family and always had activities to keep us active.
Beautiful little mountain town away from all of the people and crazy, huge cities. The Futaleufu river is amazing for rafting. Don't let any difficulty of traveling to this little town stop you from going. Hope to come back one day!
Beautiful area. The river is amazing. We are trekkers, and had trouble finding maps that are accurate (no topo maps anywhere!) But people were friendly and gave us advice. Trails except for a few aren't really maintained or marked. River is world class and plenty of vendors are in town. Had two great meals, pizza place and Martin Pescadore, and a few not so great ones.
Adrian, who has taken over this hostel recently, made us feel very welcome. The new administration is doing a lot of renovation (new restaurant interior, soon new windows). Meanwhile, they are doing their best to make you feel welcome and give orientation about Futaleufu.
Friendly atmosphere Great staff Location is stunning. A focal point for backpackers. A hub for travellers coming to raft the Futaleufu river.
Comfortable hotel in a fun town. I loved having a pool on a hot day though I don’t think there are many hot days here.
Beautiful and cozy cabañas in a wonderful setting. Clean, quiet and private. Not far from Futaleufú.
