This was our third visit and we were not there for sight seeing this time. We came for a wedding and to see friends and to travel in the south of the country. The sculpture park was new to us and I thoroughly recommend it.

Almost everywhere you went someone spoke English.
Almost everywhere you went someone spoke English. There is so much to do and places to see. The weather was fantastic and the flowers were beautiful. You need 2 weeks to take it all in. Food was fantastic and so were the people, warm and friendly.

A solid South American city generally safe although not as picturesque as Buenos Aires in terms of architecture and art. Beautiful to have the backsplash of the Andes wherever you go, some good colonial architecture in places around central Santiago but not much more than that.

Stayed only for 1 day and a half.
The best thing is the amazing view of the Andes mountain range that completely dwarfs the city's buildings, which even include the tallest in South America, with 300m.

Santiago hasn't got much to interest the tourist.
Santiago hasn't got much to interest the tourist. There are some hills with views, the central square, Plaza de Armas and a few museums. However, Bicentennial Park is nice and you can easily spend a whole day at the Metropolitan Park on the edge of the city.

You can't beat this location for convenience when transiting through Santiago Airport. We recently spent several weeks travelling through Chile and utilised this hotel twice when we had early morning flights. It is the only hotel on the grounds of the airport itself, located mere steps away from the Domestic terminal. The restaurant and bar have great options, and the rooms are comfortable and quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful, we really appreciated the assistance with our luggage.
A really beautiful house not too far to walk from downtown Santiago and the main square or a very short metro ride. The property had a very well equipped kitchen for cooking and a comfortable big lounge to relax in too. The bedroom was more like a hotel with a beautiful big bed, great bathroom, smart tv and shampoo etc products too. We were able to store our bags after check out.
Rooftop bar and pool area is superb. Magnificent views and a lovely space to hang out in. Breakfast was also a cut above average in Chile. Solace was much cheaper than other Santiago hotels and we got much more for our money - really great value.
The hotel was very clean, nice, quiet and comfortable. The free airport shuttle was a huge reason we stayed here for our layover in Santiago. The staff was nice and called a taxi for us to go into town.
