This mountain spa resort offers a swimming pool with thermal waters and rooms with private balconies. Guests can relax in the hot tub and the sauna room. WiFi is free. Parking out the front. Ski and snowboard rental in same building. Can ski right to the back door plus they have lockers for gear. Thermal pool was great to relax in after skiing all day. Staff were very friendly. Food was great something different every night.
Located just a 5-minute walk from Termas de Chillan, Departamento Termas de Chillan provides accommodations in Nevados de Chillan with a shared lounge, ski-to-door access, as well as a 24-hour front... The apartment was very comfortable and with more than enough space for a family of four. I really feel at home away from home. The location was also perfect, next to the ski pistes and near valle las Trancas for buying grocery supplies.
Located in Nevados de Chillán, this apartment features a terrace. The property features views of the mountains is 30 mi from Pinto. Free private parking is available on site. The views were spectacular and the location is an easy walk / a quick hop in the golf buggy driven by the conserje to the ski pistes. Nice and warm inside as well.
We did enjoy our stay at Hotel Alto, the ski in ski out as well as the facilities were great but the information on booking.com is misleading. If we could arrange an all inclusive package we would come back. There is no free breakfast it cost $20 USD pp for a basic buffet breakfast. There aren’t many options close by unless you have a car to drive to las trancas. It feels like there is a charge for everything, 3000peso for a swimming cap then another 5000peso per visit to the hot springs. The staff were all amazing and friendly and it seems like they try and have one staff member available at all times who can speak English. There was limited Wifi within the hotel itself with only the bar area and hotel lobby being areas you could connect
Those seeking serious golf should go elsewhere. Although there s a well-laid out 9-hole course, it is very run-down and it is a challenge to find how to play there. The course has been badly neglected and the so-called greens are a very bad joke. When we were there we were asked to pay a green fee of CLP 12,000 each and ther were only 7 holes available. Moreover, there are only 2 hand carts available. What a very great shame! It could be a wonderful golf experience but there is much to do to restore it to playable condition.
Rooms are fine, no doubt, and also the hot water pool is enjoyable
