We arrived at 10 PM at the hotel and it was too dark to see the surroundings. The next morning, we were greeted by the majestic sight of the rice terraces when we woke—Wow, it was truly amazing! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful; one team member spoke English, which was a huge plus. The location is perfect—near the Nine Dragons & Five Tigers viewpoint, with Ping’an ancient village right behind the hotel. Since I was travelling with my elderly parents, I booked a native English-speaking guide through the hotel. This made sightseeing effortless for them. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a clear glass wall in the bathroom that offers views of the terraces but can be frosted for privacy. We also enjoyed a complimentary sandal-weaving workshop arranged by the hotel; it was a wonderful experience, and we even got to take the sandals home! This is a two-year-old property and probably the most luxurious hotel in the Ping’an area. We highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay right in the heart of the terraces.

The hotel is located in the heart of Ping'an Hung Village. This allows you to explore the surrounding rice terraces on foot, and in one day, reach the viewpoints (Nine Dragons and Five Tigers (九龙五虎) and Seven Stars with the Moon (七星伴月), which offer stunning views. The owner, who speaks excellent English, is very helpful in arranging transportation to the hotel (in our case, from the Guilin train station) as well as to the next town on our itinerary. In our case, it was Yangshuo. The Chinese breakfast (noodles) was excellent, and you can also enjoy typical dishes from the region in the evening. The hotel also serves European breakfasts, but for us (we are from Poland) Chinese breakfast was more attractive than the European. Overall, the stay was wonderful...

The hotel has amazing views and great location, but what makes it is Jason the owner. As i read in previous reviews he hooked me up with a driver and agent to order boat tickets, complately taking the stress and guess work out of organising an amazing trip when Chinese.speaking isnt your thing. Fully recommended

Long Hang is the perfectly situated to start your day of walk in the Longi Rice Terraces. I recommand to chose the room on the top floor with a panoramic view of the terraces. The hotel is clean and the hosters are really nice and speak english.

The host, Mrs Lio, was very helpful. Her cooking was amazing. Mrs Lio and her daughter in law, Summer, organised a driver at short notice, every time we needed one. The driver was also great, taking us to scenic spots and suggesting places we might like to go to. The village was beautiful. I can't wait to go back.

The Location was really good. There was a great view to all the riceterraces in the Longji Valley from the hotel and it was possible to take a bus from Guilin to there. All the viewing platforms are possible to reach by walking from the hotel. The owners where very caring and kind and picked me up from the bus stop, which was wonderfull because it can be difficult to find places in China when almost everything is written in chinese. The breakfast was good.

The location was beautiful. The host spoke enough English to communicate. He had some suggestions for hikes too. He can also help with booking buses to and from Longji. The hotel also has a restaurant that is open a day. They were very kind to pick me up at the bus stop even though the traffic is insane. Many view points close by. The rooms had amazing views and were really big and super clean.

Amazing location, giving a taste of the wonderful views all around the cute town of Ping’an, with gorgeous scenery from the balcony. Very welcoming and friendly staff who picked us up from the car park area and carried our suitcases up the steep hill to the hotel! We had a great time in Longji.
