Friendly staff who explained the activities and what to see in the area. Nice, clean rooms in a central but quiet location. They even sent my adapter straight away to my next destination which was very kind. Highly recommend.

Loved the intact 'ancient' building feeling and room was amazing. Clean, hot water, warm aircon. Great attention to detail with art and furniture in the room. Manager was super helpful with train station pickup and drop off. Also kindly took us to the great south wall to explore! Great quiet location, no elevator only stairs as normal in the ancient town areas.

We were welcomed by the front desk. They promissed to bring us downtown. One staff in particular, Miss Tian Tie, had lots of good sugestions, like visiting a show, which was amazing. Then, around midnight, she went out of her way to arrange a car and driver to take us to Zhangjiajie the next day, with a nice tour of the Dehang geological park and Aizhai bridge. We had a great driver with a good sense of humor, communication throughout the day with google translate. A big thank you to Tian Tie!

We booked a junior suite, but when we arrived there they had given our room to other people and they took us to another different hotel, in another location, and they gave us a smaller room which also was dirty and noisy. DON'T TRUST THIS PEOPLE!!!!

The hosts were absolutely fantastic and we felt taken care of from the very beginning of our stay until our departure. We received very clear instructions how to get there in both Chinese and English. Room was very cosy with a fantastic view. We also had tea facilities and a laundry room available. Very good location in the heart of old town.
