The staff were really friendly and helpful. Explained the area, what places to visit, how to get tickets and picked me up and dropped me off at the station. A beautiful boutique hotel and I had a great simple room. They had gone out of their way to provide just about everything you need The location is ideal, a very short walk to the old town. Very handy for restaurants and bars.

Location was perfect and it really is a boutique hotel, historical building, very well taken care of. Staff were super nice and welcoming, they gave us gifts and helped us with everything. We only stayed one night but wish we had had more time to spent at the hotel, it was really special.

Everything about it was amazing. First of all, location is absolutly perfect, right in the center of the old town, right next to the crossing of the two main steets. And despite that, we were well isolated from the noise in the evening. The room was very cosy, located at the back of a traditional courtyard. It was spotless and looked great. We even received a lovely little carpackage with local specialities. And last but not least, the personnel was extremely kind and accomodating. Alice gave us all the tips and information on how best to visit Pingyao and helped us with reservations and ticket purchasing, etc…

The hotel staff is very considerate, friendly and love to help at anytime, they response very fast and helped to arrange cars to pick us up at the station and take us to the temples. Jiaxin guesthouse is very well located, very close to the north gate of the ancient town wall. You can get there easily from the railway station by bus. The place is very nice and the service is excellent. She helped us in everything we needed and she was so kind. The bed is very confortable and room very clean.

Good location for the North Gate of the pedestrian city. Nice courtyard and room. Helpful mail and brief explanation about where to buy tickets. Pingyao is worth visiting and can be done with one evening/night and then a busy morning or a full day. WE LOVED THE PLACE 😁
