People were really nice, super laid back and helped us booking all the activities and with any needs we had. It's very well located, 5 mins from the termales town, restaurant and activities but far enough to have privacy. I loved that they left cards and board games for us, we used them every night. You have to know that the area has very limited electricity (the whole town) therefore it obviously doesn't have any AC or fans available, so in certain days it can get warm. But this is not their fault at all, just an FYI.

The accommodation is in a fantastic location. There was very little going on for the first few days, it was quiet and you could almost feel alone on the entire beach. The staff were nice and helped us as we only speak a little Spanish. The translator helped. I would definitely recommend the accommodation. It is important to take enough cash with you, as nothing can be paid by card. Important: transport there (1 hour) by water taxi and back costs around COP 65,000 per person and the tours you can do are not very cheap either. The food costs around COP 40,000 per meal. Whether in the accommodation or in another restaurant.

This place is incredible. Right on the beach and run by a couple of brothers who are awesome. Perfect place to relax and explore Termales. It’s a beautiful spot but just remember in termales electricity and phone signal are not readily available so don’t expect that but what you do get in stead is beautiful tranquility and a whole New side of Colombia. Enjoy it!

So kindly staff. Jenny and her sister took car about all our needs, helped to organise ctivities arround, excellent food services for all day. I would like to come again sometimes and take my family as well...This is the end of the world and there are vyry nice people arround very kind to tourists...go there if you want to stay on peacefull quiet place just in thePacific coast alone out of the civilization...

El Amargal is a beautiful place where you can enjoy the beauty of the wilderness and the Pacific. Our hosts Nicole and Yaz are extremely kind and respectful. It was a lovely stay, highly recommended. I will come back!

Super friendly staff! Lovely location. Yes, it is (very!) remote which makes it perfect if you are looking for peace and silence.

The best thing was Rubi’s cooking. I loved every meal they put in front of me :)) And overall the staff was very nice and helpful.
