I highly recommend this farm for anyone looking for a genuine coffee culture experience. One of the best things is how easy it is to get there using public transport: from the Armenia Airport, you can take a bus to the Armenia Transportation Terminal, and from there, take a bus heading towards Génova. You just need to ask to be dropped off halfway at Finca La Macarena, as it is very close to the main road. Its location is also perfect for visiting nearby towns. The activities were fantastic. We took both the Plantain Tour and the Coffee Tour, where we learned exactly how these crops are grown. We also had the chance to visit a natural waterfall and swim, which was a highlight of the trip. The food was delicious and very traditional, true local flavors! A special shout-out to Kevin, our guide and main contact. He was incredibly attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. If you want a great coffee experience that is easy to reach and full of nature, this is the place to be!
