Volarte is a new property steps away from the historic main square of Jardin. Gabriel was the greatest host, so helpful in each and every way. He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and was happy to help with suggestions for visiting the town and the surrounding areas. This felt more like staying in someone’s house rather than just another guest passing through.

This is a great place! We like the location: it is like 17 minutes walking from the town center, facing the mountains, the trees. and the clouds. The hotel is quiet, relaxing, and comfortable, which makes us feel at home and close to nature. Deicy, Selene, and Luis are so nice! They helped us everything: cooking the breakfast, making the coffee, booking the motorcarro, cleaning the room, etc. Although we do not know Spanish, we talked much with Deicy and Selene using Google Translate. Very nice talking! (We need to learn Spanish!) Really recommend this hotel. We love Jardín and hope one day we will come back here again and stay in this hotel for sure.

Gulupa Ecolodge is such a relaxing and calming place. Surrounded by nature, it’s quiet, you hear and see a lot of birds. The whole place has such a good energy, I just wanted to stay for 1 night, but extended for another night. The staff is super friendly, the facilities are clean. I really like the whole setting of the lodge (many hammocks, chill areas, yoga mats you can borrow…). A big plus for me was that there are many hiking trails around it and after a hike you can enjoy the hot tub! :) I would 100% recommend this place!

Everything. Ana María and the staff were wonderful from the get go. Attentive, kind, just over beautiful human beings. The hotel itself is fully sustainable which is awesome. The quality of the food, bedding, towels is top notch and sourced locally. They have all sorts of books for those of us who enjoy reading. It's the perfect place to retreat. Jardin is a beautiful area, however, if you're feeling burned out or just need to retreat for a quiet life, this is your place. I'd recommend staying at least 3 days, it really is an amazing place to rest. The beds are super comfy, rain shower is glorious, the room was beautiful and spacious... There really isn't anything I didn't like. Ps. Their banana bread is crazy good as well as their special fries and coffee.
