Offering a private beach area, Playa Pikua Ecolodge is a solar-powered property located in Guachaca between two rivers and the Caribbean sea. Elegant, simple, open cabanas right on the beach. Location to beach is wonderful. Places to eat and see others a very short walk away on the beach. Very quiet, very few people, peaceful. There's a common area cabana near the ocean where we took our breakfast, which was very punctual. No one else was there for all the times we hung out there. Did work out there on the wifi. Easy to get to Parque entrance in taxi. Came back from Parque in public bus and then motor scooter taxi. Lovely place to relax. The people who built it also work there and really care that you have everything you need.

The location was magical . Our cabin was sooo lovely and very clean . Breakfast was delivered every morning by Edith and Nina you could have anything you wanted and I mean anything . We had the very tasty fresh fruit juices , fruit huevos pericos a la Colombiana Style , toast Arepa and tasty Colombian Coffee , The staff were so friendly helpful and professional , Javier and Rafael made sure we had wi if and electricity as there. Were a few bad storms during our stay . But that did not deter us . All in all I would rate everything a perfect 10 . The Beach was almost private and and great diving in and out of high waves .Thank you to all the Staff at playa Pikua for making our holiday truly amazing . Michelle
Fabulous private beach houses just next to the sea. Lovely breakfasts served on your veranda and you can order dinner served either to your veranda or the communal area where we were the only people. The food is delicious, fresh fish cooked to order. We loved the relaxed feel of the place and the manager Andres is super kind and helpful.
This place is called a surf camp. But when i was there rarely anyone was surfing the waves were very inconsistent even in the spot were they surf. Its not their fault as they have no control over the waves but they should not advertise as a surf camp if its not all year around. The place itself was great though good food, nice dorms. Washrooms pretty clean. And fairly cheap, although you have to keep track of what you purchase becauae its a tab system when you buy stuff
Guachaca is still wild and quiet which is the good side of the area. We stayed there 3 days and unfortunately the sea was very dirty maybe due to some previous heavy rains. We went to Tayrona national park which is something you must see if you are around but it's not WOW.
