Offering a terrace, Hostal Caño Nevera has accommodations in La Macarena. From the minute I arrived at the airport, Jorge and David were outstanding hosts who went above and beyond. They helped me plan all my excursions, made sure that my time was comfortable, and genuinely made me feel at home. The hostal itself is a little oasis with animals and land to explore. Breakfast was delicious. Beds were very comfortable. I wish that I could have stayed longer than the 5 nights that I did.

Canos Cristales is stunning and well worth the trip. The beauty of the rock formations, the crystal clear waters, and many colors of the river are truly stunning. It was one of our best trips in Colombia. We had a local guide, which is highly recommended and well worth it. The town is quaint, meals were plentiful, and there are plenty of options for rustic but comfortable accomodation.
