Bolita Rainforest Hostel and Cabinas offers accommodations in Dos Brazos de Rio Tigre, 8.7 mi from Puerto Jimenez. The property offers 8.7 miles of hiking trails, adjacent to Corcovado park. Staff very helpful- knows all the local bus drivers/taxis. Set it up so the bus would run an extra route to take a large group of us to Puerto Jimenez. Great trail system.
Los Mineros Guest house is located in Dos Brazos del Rio Tigre, on the edge of Corcovado National Park and 8.1 mi from Puerto Jiménez. It is set in beautiful gardens which can be seen from the rooms. Very chilled easy atmosphere have a look around the rivers. Caymen in local pools
Amazonita Ecolodge is located in Dos Brazos in the heart of the Jungle, 9.9 mi from Puerto Jimenez. Free private parking is available on site. All units feature a seating area. We rented the larger home for three nights. Zulai and her family are truly delightful hosts and really helpful. Unforgettable jungle lodge experience, with the jungle directly from (in!) the house. Interesting village, plenty to do around - gold-digging was fun with the kids. Well equipped kitchen - make sure you stop at the supermarket in Puerto Jimenez. We arrived by taxi, this was not a problem.
Located in Palo Seco, 9.3 mi from Puerto Jiménez, Finca Kobo features a terrace and views of the mountains. Free WiFi is offered and free private parking is available on site. We had a wonderful stay at Finca Kobo with my family. The Osa is truly a remarkable part of the country and the staying at the Finca was the icing on the cake. As frequent travellers, we appreciated the clean and comfortable rooms. The breakfast was delicious and the owner of the Finca could not have been more accommodating! A+...we will be back.
Beautiful place , some awesome walks(check out Ron at the Bolita Rain Forest hostel) . For 10dollars you can walk some of his trails, I would recommend the bonanza trail, but bring some shoes for walking in the river as well as walking shoes It is full of fabulous birds and butterflies If you have no car then you will have to spend a night or two Bring provisions, lovely people but store very basic Bus leaves Puerto Jimenez at 3pm and returns 6.15 am following morning No bus at weekends
The wildlife is abundant and the hospitality of the locals is immeasurable! If you have time go to the end of the road that Los mineros is on and cross the orange bridge. Then cross the river and hike up the mountain to Belito. It's a hostel camp. There are amazing hiking trails! Breathtaking scenery!
