it‘s a very stylish hotel with a familiar atmosphere. if you love animals, this hotel is a must! there are 3 lovely dogs and 4 cats living there who like cuddles. Lisa and her crew are amazing, very friendly and supportive. They serve a special dinner every Friday (you need a reservation) and on Saturday and Sundays they have Burger Night. also the breakfast is so delicious! you will love it! the Surf is only a few 100 meters via foot away and also the guilded Iguana and all restaurants are in walking distance.

Hotel Boutique Lagarta Lodge has excellent facilities, friendly staff, a great restaurant, good cocktails, and an amazing view. The room was spotless clean with a spacious balcony. The thermal pool was perfect for relaxing and sipping a cocktail while one watches the sunset. The free shuttle to and from the beach was a thoughtful touch. We enjoyed the nature trail, complete with wild monkeys and a mangrove forest. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Nosara.

Everything is very nice, very special workers and hotel. We felt welcome at all times, the atmosphere is super chill. The bedrooms are comfortable and big. The balcony is spacious and private. They sent us WhatsApp messages everyday with the times for low and hi tides and other important info. Breakfast was fulfilling and restaurant was good. The beach is across the street, it’s beautiful.

It's a great boutique hotel surrounded by jungle. Very quiet, chill, and calm atmosphere, no parties or noises. Tasty made from scratch breakfasts and great space near the swimming pool. Very high-speed internet and they're flexible about check-in time which was perfect for us! The staff is very helpful, they booked a restaurant for us and managed our food delivery.

Staff was excellent, especially Sebastian who was outstanding and the most pleasant, helpful and makes a wonderful margarita and smoothie! So helpful in helping my son learn to surf. Also loved the boutique feel. The breakfast (included) were absolutely delicious .the rooms are roomy and the balcony is super. Extremely helpful in helping us arrange activities and transport.

I really loved my stay at this property. It was spacious, open, airy, lovely decoration, tasteful, and a very easy place to unwind after a long hot day in Costa Rica. It’s a 15 minute walk along the beach to get to the center of nosara, but it was manageable. For the price compared to the other hotels in nosara I felt I got a really great deal. And an awesome breakfast.

Selina Nosara looks beautiful, and the staff were very helpful and friendly! The WhatsApp group was great for daily updates and to coordinate with others if you were travelling to similar locations. The food at The Patio was pretty good and the two pools were a nice cool break from the heat!

It was really amazing small boutique hotel right in the centre of town. Only a short walk to the beach. Hotel had a incredible vibe. The staff were really helpful. With daily yoga sessions on site, weekend parties it was a great place to meet local people as well as other travelers.

Wonderful property 10mn walking from Playa Pelada. We loved the room (very funky design, with monkeys playing right outside), the breakfast, the 24hr pool, and the staff (huge shoutout to Michelle for taking such good care of us). Highly recommend this stay in Nosara!

Location location location ! The hotel locate in the heart of Playa Guiones , 3 min walk to the beach ! The staff is very helpful ans super friendly ! Highly recommended !

Gorgeous, well-appointed boutique hotel nestled on the north end of Playa Guiones, Illuminar is perfectly situated and you can’t beat the private walk to the beach.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel is gorgeous. Small and perfectly formed! The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the yoga with Agnes.
