Hotels near Tejar

I was greeted personally and pleasantly and led to my cozy and comfortable room. I had just experienced an emotional situation and Mama Casita was calming and comforting, offering me a warm cup of herb tea to settle myself before bed. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. Upon awakening there was a traditional breakfast that was hot and tasty.

I arrived late due to cancellation of previous booking. Reception assisted me to late premises late at night and provided secure parking location.

What people need to know in this. Rio Perlas was closed from November 25 to March 26. There was an issue with management as I understand and this has now been changed. We were one of the first to stay after reopening. Firstly, I am disappointed in booking.com for not advising us of this fact. I had my suspicions before we left home and received an email from the hotel to confirm my booking was sound, only after contacting them directly. We arrived and we were the ONLY people there for 3 of our 4 days. This felt very odd and we seriously considered leaving. We were allocated a lovely room and then we met the staff. Everyone was extremely helpful - the firm’s CEO, the hotel manager, the reception team, the kitchen staff and the gardeners. We decided to stay. It felt odd being the only people in this large resort!! I’m glad we did stay. The service was excellent. The hotel is in a tremendous area. The room was very pleasant too. The nearby town of Orosi is good and only 15 minutes drive away. Worth a wander and several decent restaurants. We ate at Il Giardino several times - excellent.
