A Hidden Gem for the Perfect Staycation!! We live on Curaçao and booked a one-night staycation at Vista Papaya Suites with a group of girlfriends—and it was everything we needed and more! The location is ideal—just a 5-minute walk from Playa Forti—yet so silent and serene, it felt like we were miles away from the daily hustle. The peaceful atmosphere really helped us unwind and recharge. The suite was modern, clean, and cozy with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra comfortable. You can really feel the love and care that went into creating this space. Whether you’re a local like us or visiting from abroad, this is the perfect spot to slow down and soak in the beauty of the island. We’ll definitely be back!!

Our stay at Rancho was outstanding. There are several restaurants in the area that serve delicious local cuisine with delightful atmosphere. Nearby are two National Parks to explore and quaint beaches for relaxation and snorkeling experiences. Took advantage of the pool every afternoon to cool down and to practice using our snorkeling gear.

Loved that it is both secluded and easily accessible. The park-like property shields any noise from outside and serves as habitat for all kinds of birds and lizards that hang out by the porches. Close Porto Marie, Daaibooi and Cas Abao, some of the best beaches on the Island.

Our villa was wonderful. We lived by the pool and in the outdoor spaces which had a refreshing breeze and plenty of sun and shade. Everything was clean, the beds comfortable and we only had to use the ac at night. We felt safe and welcomed.

Westpunt is where you find the best beaches of Curacao (in...

Westpunt is where you find the best beaches of Curacao (in my opinion, after spending 12 days going to different beaches). It is a very nice quiet area, far from the capital and far from the party spots (Mambo / Jan Thiel). I would stay around there at least 4 nights to visit the national park and the beaches in the area. And you need a car for sure.

The best beaches, and the Bed & Bike is an excellent place...

The best beaches, and the Bed & Bike is an excellent place to disconnect, with the option of bringing your own food and using the communal kitchen, or if you prefer, the facilities of the Kalki Beach Club.

Rugged location near three beaches and a 10-15 minute drive...

Rugged location near three beaches and a 10-15 minute drive from the Christoffelbergweg and Shete Boka nature park. For us, it was a great base away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The number of restaurants is limited, but sufficient (though some planning is required, as many are open for a limited number of days).

Nice and quiet, beautiful beaches.

Nice and quiet, beautiful beaches. You do need to rent a car, but public transport isn't always reliable. Adjust to the temperature, so apply plenty of sunscreen; you'll burn easily. You can just drink tap water!
