the apartment was a disgrace the shower water flooded into the bedroom the toilet seat was loose insufficient cooking equipment light over the mirror knocked the electric off only one set of keys between four people no security on sliding doors black mould on back of sink water not hot for four people even with heater on no change of linen and washing machine could only be used whist in apartment only three sunbeds between four people . the great thing was the beach venus and the ice cream seller. paphos is my favorite city to visit been seven years in a row avoid this apartment for a great holiday
This is my third time coming to Paphos. I enjoy the small restaurants Hondras etc. and just having breakfast at the beach. Paphos is not lacking historical ruins, mosaics in Kato Paphos are a must. I recommend visiting the Tombs of the Kings close to the sunset.
There isn't that much to do- the old town is nice but can walk it in 20 minutes and be done with it. Food and drink is OK but nothing spectacular. Best part is the harbour - I spent all 3 days there basically, sunbathing and swimming. If you like open water swimming, I'd recommend it, it's nice, clean and safe.
There are far too many small hotel blocking views of sea and there is no pedestrian route next to beach. On the contrary, Limassol and Larnaca are much better where people can enjoy not just swim and sun bath, jogging and walking and other activities can be done along the long long few kilometer big pedestrian road. I have spent 34 days in Cyprus, both north and south, I guess my opinion isn't biased at all. Coastal Walk is no good in Pafos, and price of majority of mini markets are almost double or triple than other towns, namely Nicosia Larnaca LImassol, Kakopetria not to mention the north part Famagusta, N.Nicosia and Kyrenia mini markets, I guess its because of loads of tourists, they mark up the prices and also the cafe as well, far up than reasonable cmparing to other towns
Paphos is family-friendly, elegant and is in olderly state. You should choose Paphos if you are: coming with family, want to explore a little bit (Blue Lagoon, Lara Turtle Bay, Sea Caves…). We went to Larnaca and Ayia Napa too…please don’t go to Larnaca, it was awful and dirty. We ate at several restaruants: Tsiakkas tavern (the restaruant is by the sea and serves fresh local food), Three little pigs (best gyros), Santa Marina fish and chips (best fish and chips and there are variety of fish and chips, the staff is funny), Viklari the last castle (off-road but amazing food and view).
We visited the Archaeological Park which was fascinating. I could have stayed for days. We went twice because there was so much to see, and we still didn't get to it all. One of our party is not in the best of health and with the heat and humidity, we didn't do a great deal. I intend to go back next year at a more comfortable time of year, like October.
We love staying in this hotel. It’s clean and super comfortable. The facilities are fantastic including the Spa. It’s well worth booking a room with Panoramic Sea Views as the sights are spectacular; especially at sunset. The cocktails are exceptional and All Inclusive is a must when staying here. There is so much choice and variety; you will never struggle to find something to suit your tastes. The staff are always so friendly and accommodating; particularly the Bar Staff. We will definitely be staying again!
- nice clean hotel with comfortable room - good food (not too much fresh fruits and quite simple selection of deserts) - breakfast until 11:00 and dinner till 21:00 - bus stop right next to the hotel (bus can take you all around Paphos - you might need to change the line) - beautiful view from the pool - a lot of food and drinks with All Inclusive (i believe half board would be just enough for most of the people) - refreshing lemonade at the entrance for everyone - helpful and friendly staff - spacious free parking lot
This hotel is by far the best one I ever stayed in (and I had my share of 5 star hotels)! It's spotless! It's quiet! It's team of employees work as one exquisite service machine! The roome was spacious (the junior suite) and had all the necessary amneties. The location is great. The pool is great. The food is great. What can I say - This place is managed by a very competent staff! It's not cheep but it certainly gives you value for money!
Paphos
Staff were extremely friendly and courteous. Huge choice of food for buffet style breakfast. Food generally excellent with large choice. Beautifully laid out swimming pools and grounds. Hotel and ground design very attractive and well thought-out. Beach very small with 'grey sand', but safe sea swimming in enclosed area. Apparently no beaches in Cyprus are 'private' but this beach was largely for hotel guests only.
Modern and spacious apartment. Excellent location. Variety of comfortable amenities provided but could do a lot better. Fixture and fittings most from Ikea which are of acceptable quality. Lots of dinning options in the area and great opportunities to walk by the numerous 5 star hotel facilities located around it (eg sea sidewalks, tiny bars with seaview etc). Nice shower room with Grohe rainshower.
Chloraka, Paphos
Really good value. Although a little tired in places the hotel was lovely and clean, not overcrowded, had lots of entertainment to do and the food was delicious. The facilities were perfect for our age children especially as 2 are not great swimmers. Will definitely return. The pressure in the shower was the best shower I have had in Cyprus which helps get chlorine out of your hair too.
The best 2 star hotel I've stayed in. Spotless rooms, basic but covered everything we needed. Delicious breakfast, hot and cold, homemade, big variety. Family run, for several generations, and all so friendly . Very accommodating for our 1 year old. Beautiful views. Great location for old Town, excellent places to eat right on the doorstep
Lovely hotel, wonderful staff, great food very well organized. One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Check in and checkout were fast. The breakfast was amazing with something for everyone. The pools were wonderful as was the pool bar and restaurant. Located perfectly with easy access to the beach and the promenade. Just perfect.
Chloraka, Paphos
-The hotel has 3 buffet a day, however they don't take consideration at all for people who don't eat pork. if you order anything after 11pm, you have to pay for it as all inclusive is only available till 11 pm. -Location is on the sea directly but it doesn't have a beach. -Water park is nice and kids loved it.
Very comfort room and welcome sparklle wine during our entrance to the room. The Staff always polite (except one time we call for some questions during night time where the person was annoyed). The restaurant was meeting the expectations of a 5 star hotel and staff there were very polite.
Beautiful landmarks and views, very good meals both breakfast and the ones offered in the restaurant (local kitchen from Cyprus), the way the rooms and whole hotel were projected and equipeped, the area near the hotel, pool bar, helpful personnel, good bus connections to center of Pafos
Located in the old town Paphos, this hotel has an air of nostalgia about it, facilities like barber shop downstairs, beautiful backyard in the shade of old trees, where you can enjoy an abundant breakfast (or dinner, later in the day). The personnel is very kind and helpful.
Chloraka, Paphos
Amazing All Inclusive hotel, with direct beach access, pool, pool bar and many more. The breakfast was very varied, continental and british dishes, too. The dinner hat each day another theme, for e.g. Asian, Italian, Cyprus etc. We were delighted with my husband.
The hotel was exceptional one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in in Cyprus. Everything was clean, staff courteous and friendly. Couldn’t fault a thing. Couldn’t try all the facilities due to Covid but I’m sure they too are excellent.
This is a maximum 3 star hotel NOT 5 star as advertised....shame. Only good thing was breakfast Towels 10 years old.....toilet filthy...humidity everywhere and dripping AC
-clean room and reasonable size -great location between Pafos city and the Coral bay area -one of the best beaches in Pafos, Sandy beach, just 5 min walking from there
Kato Paphos, Paphos
We loved this hotel, great facility, best location, excellent service
