Set amid lovely courtyards on the slopes of Tochni village, Cyprus Villages Agrotourism offers stone-built accommodations standard (shared pool 3-5 minute walk away) or premium category next to the... The owner is super friendly and attentive! Cool to have a traditional taverna to try local food. Very nice authentic house.
The Vasilikos House is a complex of traditional, self-catering lodgings, each with its own individual characteristics. We had a very nice stay at Vasilikos House. Lovely quiet village with very kind residents. The beds were very comfortable and the showers had good water pressure. It was very convenient that the breakfast was included (we especially enjoyed the freshly made omelets). It can be quite a hike to get around in the village but after 2 days we got used to it. The restaurant (Tochni Tavern) has a diverse menu with delicious food (I recommend the truffle ravioli). The staff of Tochni Tavern were very sweet and helpful.
Located in the center of the picturesque village of Tochni, this rustic-style hotel is housed in a historic building, over 300 years old. It offers traditionally-furnished rooms with tiled floors. Amazing location (you could see the whole village). The room was very clean with everything we needed and the veranda outside was awesome for a coffee or dinner.
Eveleos is a fully restored, charming stone-built property in the village of Tochni, boasting terraced landscaping and lush gardens. The place is a real Mediterranean heaven. The beds are really comfortable and the swimming pool is great. I'll miss morning/evening swims. Location is great. 10 minutes to the sea side and, also, nearby interesting ruins settlements and nice up to the mountains villages.
The Vrakas House is located in Tochni and features a pool surrounded by a stone-paved terrace. Fantastic property, very well equipped and high quality George was a fantastic host. He gave us all help we needed to make our trip a real success. Thank you George
Located in Tochni village, Myrto House is a charming stone-built complex of 4 units surrounded by colorful bougainvillea flowers. very personal attention and ideas, enjoyed the privacy of Mirto House and pool a lot, Aircondition could have worked a bit better, book written by the owner about her life and customs in Cyprus is a real pleasure to read! will return for sure!
Located in a traditional stone house in Tochni, this hotel features lush gardens and an outdoor pool. It offers apartments with fully equipped kitchenettes, and patios with panoramic views of Cyprus. Host was very nice person, he was always very caring and making sure of our comfort. Location is away from city, which makes it very relaxed during evening/night.
The Kleanthis House is located at the highest point of the scenic village of Tochni. We liked staying in an old and pretty village with a cosy and friendly atmosphere. As we hired a car, we enjoyed the convenient location with quick access to the motorway and only 10-15 minutes away from a choice of lovely beaches. Food was readily available from nearby local shops at reasonable prices. Plenty of excellent taverns and restaurants in nearby villages offer traditional menus. George is a perfect host, amiable and helpful.
A very inviting pool and pool area. Friendly feeling towards the fellow travellers. Proffessional hostess. A very nice restaurant with good quality food at low prices.. Getting around was easy with a rented car , and made it easy to find beaches and restaurants. We are 64 and 72 years. Wine tasting was a pleasent experience and shopping local products from the winery was fine. We could easily stay another week to see more of the Island.
It was a charming, authentic Cypriot village. It was good to see locals still living there. There was an issue with cats and although there were people doing their best to look after them I would like to know that they had access to health care that would include neutering. I found the amount of cats on the streets disturbing.
Taverna at the top of the hill served amazing food. The local shop keeper was a mine of information, giving us tips on best wine to buy and best restaurants to go to locally. Jacqueline the beauty therapist was rather special too, can fully recommend the massages.
A perfect example of a Cypriot traditional village! Tiny houses surrounded my curvy tight roads and at the center of the village a big Christian church dedicated to St.Helen and St.Constantine. You can find a few taverns hidden around the village with traditional Cypriot food of course! Very quiet place, perfect for relaxing. It will take you only about an hour to walk all around the village and the vistas are quite rewarding!
very small and old village, just a couple of taverns no stores or main street. It's easy to access and parts of the village are beautiful, but I guess other bigger villages can be better to complete the night-part experience
No village restaurants that were open and we were aware of. Remember that Tochni was a predominantly Turkish village and therefore has many derelict properties. However it does offer peace and tranquillity , is very close to the motorway and very good access to much of the island. A car is a must.
