Very pleasant welcome, excellent room, fabulous price. If you are travelling along the A7 it's an excellent place to stay a night (or two) - or, of course, if you have a reason to visit Bockenem. If like me, you have a dog, your mutt will be welcomed and the hotel is close to some excellent countryside walks. The hotel do not spring an additional charge for dogs - a really irritating practice elsewhere. As you arrive (in July 2025 at least) look out for 'Hotel Sauer', though it's the only hotel in Allensteiner Strasse so shouldn't be a problem

Easy access to the A7, and an uncomplicated last minute booking (literally) due to snow and ice chaos on the motorway. Quiet and simple rooms, all you need. Breakfast was a big surprise, great selection of continental breakfast and a good coffee machine. Staff were all genuinely friendly and helpful. Thanks for making an unfortunate situation much more relaxing!

This is a village house, so it is not a hotel, and I like the location. The house is large enough for 5 to 6 persons. There are two bedrooms for one or two persons each, and one sofa bed in the living room for up to two persons. There is a TV, Wi-Fi, and comfortable furniture for sitting. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the bathroom is quite large.
