Great place for a relaxing weekend. Good location for one to go on short and long treks.

The stay was ok, the room was decent, location very good. We liked the apartment with the kitchenette. The restaurant also seemed good from the pictures, but we didn't have a chance to try it.

Great location friendly staff great facilities and the choice for breakfast was fantastic.

The hotel is close to cable-car, there was a teddy bear available in the room for our child, the breakfast was great and rooms were spacious and clean.

I enjoyed the peaceful location and the very good breakfast. The room was simple but comfortable with a good shower. A good base for hiking Brocken and exploring the Harz area.

Hotel was perfect, if I could describe the hotel in 1 word it would be relaxed. Everything is very laid back, from the payment, to the breakfast, to the helping yourself to drinks/snacks at the bar (for later payment). I would highly recommend staying at this hotel and will try to stay here again in the future. It was in a good central location. The breakfast was delicious and very good value for money, especially for hotel breakfast.

Everything was great. We went to Braunlage for skiing and the hotel is located close to the main Gondola lift which is very convenient. Also, the host is very accommodating and helpful. The room was warm and we didn’t encounter any issues with heating. Everything you need for a winter stay in Braunlage! The price is also good compared to other hotels.

Facilities were clean and well equipped. The room was very quiet and had good heating systems. The beds and sofa were in great condition. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived 3 hours before the check-in time but they still provided us with another available room which was great !

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Hotel Wappenhof in Braunlage. The rooms were clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Breakfast each morning was excellent, with a great variety of fresh options to choose from. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway in the Harz region!

We enjoyed every aspect of this lovely, traditional German hotel. The owners were very warm and friendly, the room a good size, very clean and comfortable with traditional German furnishings ( just what we were looking for). The breakfast was extremely good and the hotel was well located.

The bedroom and bathroom were both very spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was just divine . The hotel personnel is also very friendly and professional

Brilliant location, easy to find. Good parking. We stayed in a garden room with a balcony which was a good size and very clean . Lovely large garden with sun loungers. . There was an indoor pool and sauna which we did not use however a lot of guests appeared to enjoy it. Very good breakfast and free tea and coffee in reception along with an honesty bar/fridge. Hosts were really helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here , they also accept dogs . Lots of information in reception about the area If back in the area we would stay again
