This hotel has been redecorated / refurbished recently, everything is so clean, so tastefully furnished, shower fantastic, bed comfortable. I arrived a little later than check-in due to DB trains putting me 2 hours behind schedule, but that was n9 problem for the staff. I didn't eat in the restaurant because I was too tired but the menu looked very good value. There is a cheap on-site sauna. Beer garden. The breakfast is one of the best I've had in ages with so much choice and the server is just too good and too happy for that time of the morning! I stayed in 2 rooms and the quality was consistent. The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from DB and HSB teain stations.

Beautiful view from the castle. The decor was traditional and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. The sheets good quality as were the towels. The spa was great. I enjoyed my 7am swim. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and lots to choose from. Also as a gluten-free person, I had a lot of choices. We had fantastic time. The place had a relaxing feel, coming from London, we really enjoyed the comfort and peace of the place.

The stuff was amazingly friendly and helpful. At some point we forgot our stroller in the garage nearby and they were so kind, that they went and picked it up for us. The little surprise for the child was also really nice and pleasant.
