We came here for our anniversary and the hotel room was having a sect, chocolate and hearts everywhere. The owner is lovely and takes care really of everything and that nothing is missing for you. The house itself its lovely, big, clean and in a quiet space. The breakfast was also huge, delicious and with variations. You could take a bag with personalized phrases and take away anything you would not manage to finish in the moment. I hope we can come back soon! Thanks a lot for such a warm welcoming into Harz 💕

I was hiking the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg and stayed at the Hotel Der Kräuterhof for one night. The staff were welcoming and helpful during my stay. My room was spacious, clean, quiet. The bed was comfortable. I enjoyed my evening meal, vegetable strudel, at the Hotel's restaurant. Breakfast was good however a little light one for someone who was hiking. I ordered a packed lunch which was fresh and consisted of two sandwiches, a piece of fruit, snack bar and a bottle of water.

Gaste und Seminarhaus in Ballenstedt is comfortably located for travel by car. Easy access to reach other sight seeing locations in the Harz area. Also easy to discover the old city Ballenstedt area by foot. The room itself was very spacious and clean. Hotel is also very cleanly maintained. The owner and staff are friendly, approachable and helpful. We opted for breakfast which was filling and with a healthy variety. In all a great place to stay to discover Harz area by car.

Very conveniently located right in the centre of Wernigerode, a city located at the Harz mountain range, small yet beautiful. We like to stop here during our end of year holiday transit. The city has a very cosy christmas market. The hotel is very good for families with kids. It offers spacy and comfortable studio rooms, with a separate bedroom and a kitchenette. We were able to charge our car overnight at the charger available at the hotel's parking.

Great place for motorbikes. Secure parking space available in garage. The host was easily available by phone when we asked last minute to extend by a day due to illness. Very spacious apartment, (4 adults max - king bed, single and sofa bed) with full bathroom and a downstairs toilet and an outdoor balcony. Couldn’t be better situated Right in the middle of Braunlage and the Harz mountains. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Apartment is super neat and clean. Very well equipped, so you have everything you need. Location is also awesome as the apartment located just behind the central square. You will get a parking place together with WiFi. Pets are also allowed. Hosts are super nice and helpful. Sabine is always accessable and ready to answer all of your questions. Highly recommend this place to stay in Harz area.

The location in Bad Harzburg is great, there are some restaurants outside and a bus stop just a few steps away. Finding a hiking trail to the Brocken from here was very easy even in the winter season. Our room was clean and big. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was good too. We would probably stay in this or another Regiohotel in the area again.

No breakfast because of carona. The location was amazing, everything was in walking distance from the Hotel. In the middle of town there is a fountain where you can have an amazing breakfast. We did a 23 km hike around the town of Bad Hartzburg, really beautiful. The hiking trails in and around Bad Harzburg is really something you can consider.

It is in a town inside the Harz mountains, not too big but convenient with every thing you need around you. The three bed-room apartment is comfortable, with all what is needed for a family holiday, especially during the present situation whereby one does not really want to dine in a restaurant. Near to many places for hiking, visits, etc.

It’s a beautiful location nestled in the Harz National Park. Great for hiking in the woods. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety. It’s a bit of a walk into the village (we had already walked 12 miles that day) so we had the dinner there. The Italian buffet is great value if you can eat a lot.

Warm welcome from the hosts including a great briefing on the town for services. My booking included board and breakfast. Breakfast was fresh and included cereals, yoghurts, cold cuts, breads and eggs. The Hotel Harz was close to metro station and to town amenities. Overall a positive experience.

Privately owned house with 6 holiday apartments. Warm welcome, owner made us feel at home. Flat was very clean, functional yet cosy, and contained everything we needed for a week-long stay. Great location, easy access to lifts up Wurmberg and not far from many Harz attractions.

A nice large very comfortable apartment, well equipped and clean. Ample safe parking. With the guest card you had free travel on the buses within the Harz area. The host was very friendly and helpful. A small friendly local shop within walking distance was a bonus.

Super friendly host, who gave me telephone advice how best to reach the hotel - it's nice and quiet because of the location ln the Harz Forrest - Hotel interior is newly renovated to a high standard - breakfast was fantastic - I loved my stay and will be back!

Nice, modern apartment with a beautiful view from the living room, well equiped kitchen and spotlessly clean. Good location for many hiking trips. The owners are very friendly and helpful. If we are in Harz again we will definitely come back.

Apartment 2 has enough space for 6 people. The apartment was very clean and has a good location in the town. Braunlage is a great base for exploring Harz. The kids were very happy with the many games and toys. Host was friendly and helpful.

stylish but homey Hotel in the middle of Harz with a lot of details that show how much love went into it. We had a room with bath tub, which I absolutely recommend. Breakfast was rich and we were greeted by one of the owners every morning.

Excelent location just oposite of main rail and bus station, ideal for hopping and exploring the Harz region and its picturesque towns and nature. Very hospitable staff at reception and the restaurant. Covid protocols highly respected.

Great choice for Brockenbahn fans – accommodation is close to Hochschule Harz station and bike path according the railway. Parking place in front of house included. Apartment is very clean and spacious. Very nice and helpful hosts.

The public spaces are very nice and the breakfast was perfect. The design of the room was done beautifully, with attention to detail. All in all you have a nice Harz mountain feel combined with international boutique hotel design.
