The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The town itself is peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We also visited Königssee, which is only about a 7-minute drive from the hotel—definitely worth seeing.
Highly recommended, and we will definitely be coming back again!

One of the Best place we ever stayed with Family. We arrived late at night and Leonie gave us the most warmest welcome. The staff are very attentive, and the spa and pools are great. Many indoor and outdoor facilities for the children. Breakfast is amazing. During our stay Leonie and her team took great care of us and nothing was too much trouble. We left early in the morning and received a very generous and tasty breakfast for the road too. Can't recommend this place enough, we will be back!

Perfect location in front of the Königssee. The receptionist was super kind to give us a FREE room upgrade to a very nice and newly renovated room with balcony and direct view of the Königssee. The stay was so worth it after night-shift work and the 10hr-train-travel. Love the bed and the bathroom too. Breakfast buffet.

Everything was wonderful! The hotel is like five stars! Breakfasts and dinners are super varied and delicious! The staff is friendly and always willing to help. The rooms are cozy and warm. The view from the window is fantastic. I already want to go back.

I made a mistake about the month. The booking should be 3-4 June instead of July. The reception kindly checked me in. This was really wonderful. I would like to thank the hotel for doing this. In addition the breakfast was very good

The hotel was beautiful and located close enough to the train station to reach it easily on foot.
The breakfast was wxcellent and the receptionist was very helpful. Overall a great experience!
Berchtesgadem`s Königssee was astoundingly beautiful and the Eagle's Nest was located in superb surrounding with mountains as far as the eye could reach. It's History is very troubling though.

Beautiful spa park, wonderful pedestrian zone in the center with mini water canals and a fountain. Clean and pleasant. If you use the P+R parking lot, don't forget to bring a parking sticker, otherwise you will get a 20 euro fine.

Mittenwald is about 1.5 hours from Munich airport and close...
Mittenwald is about 1.5 hours from Munich airport and close to the Austrian border. It's position is perfect for mountain hiking in both the Karwendel and Wendelstein ranges. It's far less crowded than Garmisch-Partenkirchen. I did two major day hikes in late June in fairly hot weather (32C in the town). There are at least 4-5 full-day hikes that start within easy reach of the hotel. If you don't want Bavarian cuisine every night, there are plenty of alternative restaurants and even in June booking didn't seem necessary.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and had an excellent experience. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. The hotel’s facilities were well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to return in the future.

Schönau am Königssee is a beautiful Alpine village surrounded by stunning mountains. Everything is very clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, without the noise and bustle of a city. The air is wonderfully fresh and clean. A perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.

offering excellent hiking trails right from your doorstep.
In the town center, you'll find a variety of amenities, including supermarkets, medical facilities, bakeries, and restaurants.
We also visited Lidl and Rewe to stock up on groceries.
Additionally, there is a DM drugstore nearby for personal care needs.
Just keep in mind everything closes soon. Only REWE and LIDL and DM were up to 8 pm.

Bad Tolz is a magical place. There is so much beauty. Walking the river was very calming and I really liked that local families were out enjoying themselves. There appeared to be many wonderful restaurants, just by peeking inside and looking at menus. If you want a true Bavarian experience, I highly recommend Bad Tolz.

Suspect this is a winter destination mostly. In summer it is very quiet with few options for evening dining. Very accessible location by car, with rail connections to Munich and Salzburg. Beautiful location at the base of the mountains. Everything you need for an easy stay is in the town- laundry, supermarket, petrol station etc. Easy access by Carr to towns around the big lake. Lots of cycling and hiking going on, and easy to hire electric bikes and boats. Just 11km from Austrian border with cheaper petrol and even better scenery.
A great base for a touring holiday round and about. We would go back without hesitation.

Inzell is beautiful, lovely views, restaurants, cafes and activities to do.
The chiemgau karte is the reason we can back.
We hired bikes, played crazy golf, painted pottery, adventure golf, tyre sliding, indoor & outdoor pools, chair lifts, the buses, trains etc all on the card for free.
We were then able to buy drinks/ snacks/ dinners at all the venues. It was fantastic.
Ban Thai restaurant, Kreinburg, salvatone, vroni & lindl brauer restaurants were all very tasty.
More buses on a Sunday would be better.
