We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Zartenbach. Our room was spacious and comfortable. There was excellent water pressure in the shower, which was nice after a long day of hiking. Parking was available onsite as well as free WiFi. The breakfast buffet was also nice. The location of the hotel was good, as well - walking distance to some restaurants, well situated to hiking trails and also close to the highway to quickly get out and explore other parts of the Black Forest. The hotel staff were also very friendly.

My boyfriend and I were looking for affordable alternatives for accommodations since Baden Baden was out of our budget. Hotel Wanderlust is a gem just minutes outside of Baden Baden. The host, Mariann, was so wonderful and super friendly. We didn’t have much planned but Mariann was prepared with maps and booklets and helped us plan our entire stay! On top of that she prepared a great breakfast and the room was super clean. We plan to stay there again for our next visit in the Black Forest.

The location, the room and the breakfast was exactly what I expected. Gengenbach is a wonderful medieval place in the Black Forest and well worth a visit. The hotel is right in the middle of the town and they have parking facilities, the staff was very helpful and attentive and the breakfast had everything you wished for. We had a great time over there, Unfortunately it was just before the Corona-Crisis led into the full lockdown of all of Germany, so a lot of places were already closed.

exceptionally clean and well presented family run hotel in a good location. The restaurant area is very traditional Alpine and impeccably clean, where the rooms are more modern but equally as clean. En Suite is modern and the shower is powerful and refreshing. Breakfast was a lovely spread. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is passing through, but equally as a base for a longer stay in the Black Forest. I have no negative comments to make, this hotel is very, very good.

This is a beautiful holiday apartment and very spacious! Modern throughout and clean. The balcony is big too and fits a sun lounger (which is provided), table, and chairs. Perfect for an afternoon break when the sun hits it nicely. The family Zimmermann also provides you with a free ticket to use public transport in the Black Forest and a trip to the local sauna (if you're not familiar with Germany, remember: no swim suits in German saunas)! All in all: a beautiful place.

Extremely large room with lounge area. Located next to a pleasant river. Staff extremely helpful Coffee Tea is offered free of charge. Breakfast wonderful. Parking free and very convenient. Hotel perfectly located for traveling to many areas in the Black Forest (Triberg waterfalls, Titisee lake). Crossing to Colmar in France close and very convenient for a lovely day trip. Three very pleasant and tasteful restuarants within short walking distance from hotel

Apartment was huge, really clean and every detail was taken into account. Excellent apartment. Location was very good for visiting this part of the black forest. Victoria was really nice and ensured we had everything needed. Not only this, the day of checking out, I had to take a meeting spontaneously after the check out and she provided a quiet room out of the apartment so that I could take that short videocall. Best "Gastgeber"

Cute little hotel in the heart of the Black Forest, in traditional german style. The beds were extremely comfortable, room was warm and clean. The view of the forest was wonderful. Free parking right in front of Hotel Restaurant and pizzeria across the street The breakfast was excellent and filling, and they even made sure we had plenty vegan options (milk, yoghurt, cold cuts etc.) good place for trips around the area

In a small traditional village called Hornberg, which is one of the most beautiful and picturesque places in Black forest, this specific Hotel offers you a privileged experience combining comfort and conviviality. Congratulations to the amazing stuff who provided us all the extraordinary facilities.Very rich breakfast and a nice restaurant next to the Hotel and very kind people.Keep up your effort ,many thanks.

Our stay at Hotel B&B Steinasäge was just wonderful! The owners are adorable and will make everything they can to make your stay perfect! The Hotel is a cozy place and historical building typical of the Black Forest. Breakfast is reach and the position is close to the main sites of the southern part of the Black Forest. We will recommend Hotel B&B Steinasäge to everybody! Danke schön!!

We stayed here as a family of 4 and we all very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Hirschen in Sankt Peter. A lovely peaceful village and a really brilliant small hotel. The staff were very friendly and the evening dinner and breakfast were wonderful. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and at a very reasonable price. An excellent base for exploring the wonders of the Black Forest.

If you come with your pet there is a walking trail right next to the house. It is an incline up. Internet is good. Was able to watch shows with no problems Apartment appliances were all well maintained and it has everything you need; i.e toaster, microwave, pots and pants etc. 30 minute drive to the Black Forest and a few minutes to the Thermal. Bed and sofa was comfortable.

The room was clean and modern and up to date. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. The day we checked out I really wanted some black forest cake but the bakery didn't open until 11 and we were driving home at 10 but the lady wrapped me up a piece to go. They made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable! I'll 100% be back to stay at Hotel Cafe Adler!

Extremely clean and cozy apartment, in a very quiet location. It was equipped with everything we needed. Our hosts were fantastic! We even did a tasting of the wines they produce (and of course, we bought a full box to bring back home). Perfect place to stay if you want to explore the Black Forest's wine region. We are definitely planning another visit next year!

Excellent apartment and good base for exploring southern end of Black Forest. Apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. We visited 2 local restaurants which were excellent and within walking distance. Lovely park out the back to walk through. Owner was very helpful. We didn't have much contact but she was available if we needed her. Good parking.

We stayed in this hostel to hike the Black Forest and take the Höllentalbahn. Great value for those who just need a place to sleep at night. Typical youth hostel with great atmosphere, spacious common room and kitchen. Bathrooms and bedding are clean enough. Very well located near city central area. Staffs are attentive and helpful.

A dream. So perfect for kids and adults equally. Mummelsee and the Black Forest is a lovely part of Germany that should never be overlooked. The cherry on top is at the end of your magical stay you get a loaf of mummelsee bread at the gift shop and it's a reminder of the memories you made during your visit.

Simple rooms but then you got everything you need and you are right at the cathedral and can explore the town and the surrounding Black Forest area. Hotel has a nice restaurant but for breakfast I would recommend one of the local bakeries or small original restaurants such as Rosalie which is just next door.

The location is superb, very close to downtown, but not inside so transportation is very easy. The breakfast is also very good, many different options, so everyone was satisfied. The staff is kind and the view from both our rooms was fantastic (the black forest in one of them, downtown from the other).

The location is close by supermarket and restaurant. The apartment is cozy and very clean. The living and bedroom are very comfortable. The owner is a super host and welcoming. We had a good time in this apartment. I recommend this place for a short and long stay to explore black forest.
