The food at this hotel is OFF THE SCALE FANTASTIC !!! Very fresh, excellently cooked and presented. ( be aware that they don't serve food every day of the week!) The breakfast- FABULOUS. SO much choice. Even Wakame - Japanese-style seaweed, I couldn't believe it. My 91 year old mother, who complains about food all the time and hardly eats anything, polished off every single course at dinner. Her only regret was that she didn't have room for a third helping at breakfast!!!

Everything. I loved outdoor pool, sauna, breakfast , room , beds, staff. If I will visit this place one more time, I will come again to this hotel and recomend to all. My dog was happy too. Staff was very nice and friendly, I never experienced such warm attitude toward dogs in hotel. It was hard to leave. The most beautiful thing was the garden with big trees surrounded by mountains. It was gorgeous with sun as well as rain and storm. We extend our trip just because we loved the hotel and garden.

The building itself, its emplacement, the personnel, breakfast and dinner, the silence, sauna and pool. Their restaurant serves wonderful meals and beverages. It is within walking distance from the train station. There is a bus stop nearby, where we can take a bus to the boat tour and other places.

The hotel was very cozy and clean. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We had amazing view from our hotel room. Location was very nice and just 20 min walk to Königssee. We are recommending to everyone :)

The staff was EXCELLENT. Cleansing lady’s to receptionist 10/10. We had a room with the balcony view towards the lake, the views were unbeatably out of this world. I suggest you to book sea view.

Fantastic place, very friendly staff, Wolfgang was so warm and friendly and guided us perfectly when and where to go for the hike. The room looks over the mountains for a stunning view. The restaurant is typical south german style and everything is so neat and creates for a perfect environment.

Konigssee

The glassy clarity of Lake Königssee takes the eye tumbling into its transparent depths, creating a blurry harmony between the waters and the mountains above. Protected from gas motors since 1909, the lake is skimmed only by quaint electric boats, shuttling passengers from stop to shore-side stop. Hop off at St. Bartholomä to visit the 12th-century church, or the last calling point, Salet, for Lake Obersee.

the boat on the Konigsee was a great plus - but it was hard...

the boat on the Konigsee was a great plus - but it was hard to hear the narration . Also, not sure how to arrange for narration in English. But the scenery was beautiful and the trumpet echos a real treat.

Bavaria, along with the whole Berchtesgaden and Schönau am Königssee area, is absolutely gorgeous. The mountains are impressive, forests as far as the eye can see, beautiful houses, spectacular lakes, cleanliness, peace, quiet, and harmony. I fell in love with Germany and the Bavaria region irreversibly. The apartment is spacious, bright, clean, comfortable, with lovely views for both the eyes and the soul.

A charming place to stay near Königssee Lake! The location is perfect for starting hikes, and the hotel owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The added bonus of having sauna facilities made it even better—such a great way to relax after a long day of exploring. We stayed at Aparthotel Hochfeld for one night in Schönau am Königssee, and it was a delightful experience. The location is stunning, surrounded by the beautiful Bavarian Alps, which made for a peaceful and scenic retreat. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering everything we needed for a short stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making sure we had a pleasant experience. Very cozy hotel! Great location next to the Königssee. Our apartment located privately on the highest floor of the hotel. The apartment was spacious and clean and had everything you need. The staff were helpful. The breakfast selection was modest but everything needed was there.

Lovely location near Königssee, easy walking tracks to the lake and cable car and bus stop. Plentiful and fresh breakfast buffet. Dinner restaurant has traditional Bavarian cuisine. Rooms comfortable and hotel is cozy.

The breakfast was amazing!! There was an omelette , different kinds of sausages , very delicious pies. The room was cozy and well cleaned. I liked being there .Oh.. and don’t forget swimsuit . There is a small swimming pool and sauna. The hotel is not far from Konigssee, only 7 mit by bus . The bus stop was near the hotel , just cross the road.
