Big comfortable room, comply bed, walking distance to the lake. Breakfast was good, and dinner amazing.

We travel in summer and everything was perfect! Friendly staff, clean and very spacious room with balcony, decent breakfast, cosy restaurant with huge portions. Even vending machine with beer in lobby.

Just remember that a full day is needed if you plan to visit the lake area and the milk cottage. Breakfast is served in a traditional-style restaurant, ensuring you’re well-fed before embarking on your explorations.

Amazing stay! This is my second time staying here in 8 years! The accommodation really showcases the Bavarian charm. Right next to the river and close to the train and bus and supermarkets. The pool was great and the breakfast was superb. The rooms were so comfortable and lovely. We stayed here over Mother’s Day and the breakfast staff had roses and chocolates for all the moms which was a beautiful touch.

My recent stay here was absolutely fantastic, starting with a little adventure. I got a bit lost after getting off at the wrong bus stop, leading to an unexpectedly long walk while carrying my luggage. However, this turned out to be a wonderful experience thanks to the beautiful scenery I encountered along the way. When I finally arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the hosts, who were incredibly kind and helpful. I also got to briefly meet their adorable cat. (It's a shame I was so busy during my stay and didn't get to see him/her again!) The room where I stayed was very clean and had everything I needed, adding to the comfort of my visit. It was well-equipped and maintained, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Breakfast each morning was a highlight. It was simply superb, served in a cozy room that showcased the hosts' care and attention to detail. It felt like a warm, inviting space that made the start of each day extra special. Getting around using public transportation was a bit of a learning curve, as the bus schedules are a bit limited. Thankfully, the hosts were fantastic in helping me plan and optimize my travels, making it much easier to navigate the area. My only regret is that my stay was too short. I’d absolutely love to come back and stay here again if I'm ever in the area. The combination of wonderful hosts and the charming setting made this a memorable and highly recommended place to stay!

We really liked the hotel. It is isolated, so it is very quiet there. Magnificent stars at night. The building is old and charming. The rooms are quite spacious. Good breakfasts.

This was my second time staying at this hotel, and once again, it did not disappoint. The location is perfect, with an outstanding view that adds so much to the experience. The owner is incredibly friendly and polite. The room was clean and comfortable, and the check-in process was easy and hassle-free.

Perfect location in front of the Königssee. The receptionist was super kind to give us a FREE room upgrade to a very nice and newly renovated room with balcony and direct view of the Königssee. The stay was so worth it after night-shift work and the 10hr-train-travel. Love the bed and the bathroom too. Breakfast buffet.

Fantastic place, very friendly staff, Wolfgang was so warm and friendly and guided us perfectly when and where to go for the hike. The room looks over the mountains for a stunning view. The restaurant is typical south german style and everything is so neat and creates for a perfect environment.
